And before you reply, no, it is not Pete Gas' brother.
NickGAS went off the air last night at 6pm CT. "The N" (the teen geared Noggin usually shown at night) took its place at 12 midnight.
Noggin ended a Degrassi marathon at 5am, and will show nothing but preschool-aged stuff like Oobi and Little Bill on its original spot in the channel guide 24/7.
Please discuss. I know some people never received NickGAS on their digital systems, so losing shows like "The Best Years" and "Degrassi:The Next Generation" may be a hard hit to take.

When I first saw this thread and looked at the schedule for the next couple hours, I was upset. I loved watching Legends of the Hidden Temple, Nick Arcade, Guts, etc. Good times. But then I noticed what was on at 6:30 pm:
Kenan & Kel
I'd give up every Nick sports-themed show as long as I could watch one episode of Kenan & Kel each day. That and Fresh Prince seem to be the only decent shows, but I'll take it.

I simply cannot believe they took off a channel that showed Fresh Prince, not that I watch it much, it just seems like its a ratings blockbuster every single time it's on tv

I just noticed that within the past couple of weeks. I think they dropped "Moesha", "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" or one of the Fresh Prince hours.
Which is fine with me. By the way, anybody know what happened to the first five or six seasons of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch"? All anybody airs (ABC Family, in particular) just shows the season at college.

Brawl, I don't think they've dropped any of the programs you have mentioned. I also saw Keenan and Kel the other day too. The N needs all the programing it can get.

I'd like to see them start airing "Fifteen" if possible.

I'm gonna miss Legends and GUTS. Those shows got me through some tough personal issues(whether it be as trivial as girls or as macabre as death).

They need to have a channel to showcase My Brother And Me.

A couple of notes:
- Nick GAS, according to Viacom, will be going broadband soon. Don't get too upset. - Though DirecTV never carried GAS, they now carry the separate The N channel, so I think that most systems should have it on their digital lineup.

Uh, I have no idea what you're talking about. ABC Family shows the entire series. I've sadly seen it about 4 times already. They're up to the last season or so which should be finishing up either this week or next week and it'll roll back over to season 1.

As father of a preschooler, 24 hour NOGGIN makes me happy.

I completely misread the title of this thread. I thought it had something to do with the "N" word.

if this means they're bringing back reruns of RFR and My So Called Life then I'll be very happy...and if they ever get around to showing some O'Grady I'll be happier still

I doubt they will, Diamond. Nickelodeon 2nd Tier channels like Noggin and the N and the just replaced Nick GAS all run the same 6-8 shows down our throats. They've done that for the past 2 years.
