My vote? (1) DEATH SENTENCEZODIAC and the American theatrical poster for WE OWN THE NIGHT are great posters too, but my vote goes to DEATH SENTENCE because it does something right what posters are supposed to do: Make you want to see the movie. You have Kevin Bacon, with a broken-down face in pain, and vengeful, with a bigass BASEBALL HAT on hand, white blood dripping on it. Whatever he plans to do, he's gonna kick some ass. That's for certain! Plus, unlike THE BRAVE ONE, its not a hypocritical anti-revenge picture that sells itself as a revenge story. DEATH SENTENCE is at least honest with what the hell it is..... (2) ZODIACSpooky, eerie, mystical, and provoking......a great poster that is the image for one of the best smurfing movies of 2007. (3) WE OWN THE NIGHTRemember the 70s, when posters weren't goddamn photoshop jobs with Floating Heads? This is a throwback to the days of SERPICO, and its a rather awesome poster, I must say.

Few good ones this year. I liked this one a lot: That's another great poster I forgot all about. I hate that the DVD replaced that with the generic-ass collage. Pity.

Knocked up was my one of the best posters of 2007. Beat me to it. I'll have to buy it soon. Simple. And a donut with pink stuff and sprinkles. Mmm...pink stuff with sprinkles.Oops, got off track. I like this one for many reasons. Mainly being the top hat worn by Casey. This should have been the 'official' poster for I'm Not There. I like the silhouette one they went with, but this one rocks for showing Christian Bale, which is what every movie poster should try to do. Oh, and the little dumb kid in my loved this one:

The teaser didn't have the cool playing card design, but it had a cooler catchphrase Like rra said about WE OWN THE NIGHT, they're kind of a throwback style (which of course fit the style of the series itself). Plus, how can you not find the fact that in 2007 Elliot Gould and Carl Riener are almost more visable on a poster featuring George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon?
