...I see that the hi def dvd's and the WWE ppvs are going up about ten dollars. Is this how it's gonna be now? Are we gonna save billions a year with these new light bulbs only to fork it over for hi definition programming? Discuss.

Well, if people don't order them in HD, they can't justify or afford the price rise.

Well, if people don't order them in HD, they can't justify or afford the price rise. yea but they're gonna force it all to go high def in the next year or so, or you can't check out the new programming. Besides, a lot will probably order it out of curiousity

I'm sick of being told that something-or-other is the next consumer bandwagon to be on... I've got enough stuff as it is, I'm not replacing anything till it's either busted or hopelessly, no-new-software-eque-ly, obsolete.

I don't think DVD is an danger of being beaten by HD-DVD anytime soon. Blu-Ray Discs on the other hand...
