"Hopeless chaos".
Nice.
It certainly is an interesting and well thought out theory.

I've seen that theory a bunch of times. The Statue of Liberty's head flying into the frame does probably push clues more towards some sort of water monster since the statue is on its own little island and all. So whatever monster it is came from somewhere and there was this huge thing blocking its path so it just took it out. Sure some huge bird could fly to that island, but why would it bother destroying something it could just fly around?

I have a friend that is still adamant that this a Godzilla movie. I keep telling him that he is wrong, but he just won't listen.

There is an explosion in the middle of New York City...and THEN, a short time later, the Statue of Liberty's head flies.
I mean...If this were a monster creature, coming from the sea, wouldn't Lady Liberty be the first thing destroyed?
As usual...just a random note from a confused person who sucks at mysteries.

Haha, awesome. When I was in high school I wrote a short story with Godzilla as the Levithan, Angilas as the Behemoth, and Rodan as Ziz. Bastards stole my idea!

The explosion could've been caused by something else the same monster threw. No one saw exactly what caused the explosion. He could've thrown a huge boat or something.

what if it's just a trailer for Joe/Kobashi II?

what if it's just a trailer for Joe/Kobashi II? I think Sasaki/Kobashi II would be more like it with a special apperence by Joe, But the world would have exploded if that happened.

I've been pulling for it to be some Biblical wrath stuff all along, so I'm all for it!

New poster for the film. Ethan Haas is about 100% confirmed to be unrelated from what I've read.

It also looks like the Monstrous title was bogus too, according to this poster.

Judging by the looks of the poster, I think we can almost be guaranteed that this is some kind of sea monster type movie. Notice the ripples in the water leading from the Statue of Liberty to where the city is partly destroyed.
