Monstrous...not bad. I would have preferred 1-18-08 as a title, but this works too.

It seems pretty likely and I like monstrous it's still vague enough to be pretty much anything.

If the guy's smart, he'll go back this week and try to get a clearer picture of the poster.

Well comingsoon.net specualtes that that isn't the title just part of a teaser poster campaign so who knows.

Oh, its not a bad title, and I'm still looking forward to the movie, its just not.....mind-blowing, I guess. Pretty basic, but still a cool title.

I'm not completely convinced that "Monstrous" could be the name of the movie. Could it be one of those ad campaigns where a new poster is released every so often and it shows different images of what the monster's doing with a different adjective at the top of the poster??
Like maybe, release another poster with a picture of whatever the monster blew up in the trailer with the word "Destroyer" at the top. That's just the first thing I thought when I saw this.

I dunno.. call me a late bloomer. I jumped onto the first thread.. checked out the website.. a couple videos... meh.. didn't really get swept up in the hype.
However, I just saw the trailer on Apple.com with the party, the roaring, and taking off the head of the Statue Of Liberty... and holy crap..... I've got goosebumps.
The whole thing was done so well, you almost fear for your own safety when you hear the roar....
I'm definitely in for this goddamn movie.

I'm still pulling for the title to just simply be "1-18-08".
And hope to god the movie doesn't get pushed back.

I'm still pulling for the title to just simply be "1-18-08". And hope to god the movie doesn't get pushed back. That'd be sweet... giving the events in this movie the same implication of 9/11 where you don't need details or a catchy title to know what someone's referring to... just the date alone.

So...I just looked at the website, and saw 4 pictures.
There is a woman in every picture. There is a woman with dark brown hair in every picture. You never see this woman's full face.
Does that mean anything to anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
I should know better than trying to be a detective...
EDIT: I'm also guessing someone has already brought this up...

i hope "Montrous" isn't the actual title and that it's just a word to hype the film. Except that it could lead to an obvious parody:
Blown Up Cars - $75,000
Destroyed Landmark - $16.4 million dollars
Overhyped Movie - Priceless
Now watch someone actually do that and I'll be pissed.

Weird thought. Has anyone looked up who owns either the Slusho trademark (if there is one) or at least who owns the website?
