I was joining you guys on the BW Fanboying, but yeah, the G1 DVDs are awsome too, I own all of them except the last Box. well, i'm what you call a Transformers whore, any series with Transformers on it has SOME merits on their own that make them awesome in their own individual right. You'll never see me badmouth a Transformers series... I'm WAYYY to positive for my own right

It takes a lot for me to not find something to like about a wrestler or promotion.

I've watched the Beast Wars dvd so much, I'm glad they still properly play. Besides 'Code of Hero', my favorite three episodes are 'A Better Mouse Trap', 'Call of the Wild' and 'Transmutate', could watch those at anytime and be joyful. You're waaay to positive, though not a bad thing. Guess this new series has some of that merit you spoke of, what with a terrific voice over cast (even if the voice for Prime is AWFUL), and the using of G-1 footage. As long as there's some kind of Transformers on tv, that's a very good thing!

I think at the end of the day, we can all sit back, have a nice drink, and take comfort in the fact that the series is not getting the SD Gundam treatment.
The idea of a midget sized Optimus Prime brings my piss to a boil.

well, we where promised more Character driven stories and some of the characters coming up are gonna be interesting like Lockdown, a Decepticon Bountyhunter who takes no orders but his own. And his design is almost too good not to notice. And voice by Lance Heckelston, so that hook, line and sinker. Another character I like it's consept that I marked out for was Blitzwing, you have Corneal Klank, Ah-nuld and a demented Jack-O-Lantern thingy in one bot that has 3 modes.
But as long as we get some Transforming robots going, i'll be there and i'll be the first in line to get it. Only thing I have to complain is that WHY THE smurf MUST I WAIT TILL JUNE TO PICK UP THE TOYS!!! PORRR-QUEEEE!!!!!!!!!
As far as Beast Wars goes, anything from Season 2 and 3 will always be the best stuff i've ever seen. Very story driven and very well done with the Cg. I liked all the "realistic" animals and such in the first season, but when they got the Transmetals upgrades, and guys like Quickstrike, , Rampage, Inferno, Silverbolt and Dephcharge where introduced, it was on like Donkey Kong baby!

Blitzwing seems like he could be very interesting. And to go along with Lance Henriksen as Lockdown in the cult character actor department of the cast, I saw that Peter Stormare is going to play a human scientist turned into a supervillain called Meltdown. That just sounds like it can be nothing but entertaining.

While he's better suited to Megatron, I'm glad he's not doing him this series because I love Corey Burton's version. I'm also anxious to hear David Kaye's version of Grimlock when the Dinobots debut.

The only Transformers show I EVER was interested in was Beast Wars. The rest of them, including the original, were pretty boring to me. You're wise. Now lets brainwash everyone else into believing this about Beast Wars, yesssss.
