I'm watching NBC so I'll cover that, you can talk about CBS in here too if you wish.
but was anyone else shocked when they showed rick the scary stage manager again? I didn't even know he still worked there.

I'm watching Leno, but only because I want to see how bad it can actually be without writers.
And Leno has now resorted to taking questions from the audience. For real. Not staged questions.

Actually, I think both shows may improve with out writers, as they both tend to be awful, and neither can let a bad joke die.
So far both are doing audience Q&A.
Dave has a full Santa Claus beard and stache going on, it is weird. I tuned to Leno hoping he was doing the same.
back to Attel!

this once again confirms that conan o'brien is the man. "CAUSE I CAN'T STAND ROCKIN' WHEN I'M IN HERE, 'CAUSE YOUR CRYSTAL BALL AIN'T SO CRYSTAL CLEAR, ARCHIE!" When was there any doubt that he WASN'T the man?

My Thoughts in convent list form Leno: Bad, although the Q&A part was the first time I've seen Jay be naturally funny in a long time. Huckabee from what I saw was ok in that safe way that all politicans are on talk shows
Letterman: Good stuff from the Biff run in on the monologe to the top ten with striking writers. It's a nice jab to the other production companies that Worldwide Pants can get the people that make their shows work. I'm not a huge Robin Williams fan but he beat out Huckabee in terms of entertainment value
Conan: The beard looks good, better than Daves me thinks. Conan looked really uncomfortable at times. The last time I saw him look as ackward on his show as tonight was when the night when Andy left. The office bit with the sunshine of your life riff was great and Saget is always good.
Craig Fergison: Good opening bit, well not that good but I'm a sucker for the Scottish thing. The Tim Medows book was ok. But his shows just seems to be a bunch of bits, can't he get guests? Still I find him funny and he's doing the Prince Charles bit which I like right now.

I only watch Letterman, but I flipped to Leno briefly to see what he's doing......not much. Letterman had a decent show. Seemed a little off, like he was rushing things.....It'll get better.

Letterman and Conan were both good. Leno just can't do it anymore. His style is just dated.
