Golden Grahams are a total dissapointment

One of my favorite cereals as a kid was Golden Grahams.

After years and years of not having it I picked it up today along with some wheat chex

The golden grahams are disgusting. Almost no flavor. At least the wheat chex have a nice texture.

Such a gigantic disappointment. I don't understand why I loved it as a kid,

i think they do. Cinnamon Toast Crunch still taste as good as it did in the late 80's early 90s however.

some folks here already know the story....but there's one reason why i don't like golden grahams: small, dead bugs and golden graham crumbs look WAY too alike in milk.

Golden Grahams were delicious, without a doubt. What the hell did the do? Less sugar! Healthy child's breakfast cereal! We live in a prison.

Golden Grahams may taste gross because of all the salt.

For every 100 g of cereal there is 2.5 g of salt.

For every 100 g of salt water there is 3.5 g of salt.

Golden Grahams used to be awesome. I haven't had them in years, so I'm glad you warned me that they changed them. I did have Cookie Crisps lately and they are horrible. I am also sick of the health nazi's taking yummy food and making the companies make them bland and flavorless. There is a reason people don't eat Good Friends cereal, so don't try to turn Golden Grahams into Good Friends and tell me its still Golden Grahams.

I don't know what they did to Cookie Crisp, but they used to be delicious and now they're just plain awful. I don't think they decreased the sugar in that one - you'd have an empty box left.

I've noticed the same thing about them as well.

However, one cereal that is still delicious is Cocoa Krispies. 2 months ago I was absolutely fiending for them, went and bought a box, and the box was gone in 2 days.

Awesome.

About the only cereals that I can eat now that I did in my youth are Honecomb and Cap'n Crunch.

If I ever needed an endorsement to keep me away from eating Bran cereal, here it is.

And at the same time, they load up cereals like Raisin Bran with sugar so the kids will eat them.

So they take the sugar out of the unhealthy cereal, and add a bunch of sugar to the healthy cereal.
