I can't wait for the Smash Bros. update on what the A button does...boy, is this getting tedious. Just wait until we finally know what music plays in the background when you hit pause. Then I can finally get off this building ledge.

I don't mind Friend Codes. People seem to hate it with a passion and its hilarious to read reaction to this update. What I'm more upset about is we get something not exciting on the old US release date. Anyone know the Japan original release date? Meh, we DID get the Sonic announcement when it was offically delayed, so I am not too surprised. And BTW, original Japan date was...well, wikipedia ain't telling me...THEIR NEW date is January 28th, so I would assume Japan's original date has passed. I just wish they'd either confirm some older characters or bring some new ones in. It's been over a month and a week or so since they announced their last character, DeDeDe. That or announce custom soundtracks...I like to think I didn't buy that SD card just for music to use in Excite Truck (I have dialup, so extra channels and games are not an option).

They've got the largest assortment of composers pretty much ever in a video game, they're not going let you replace all their work with OC ReMiXes.
And you still have the SD Card for your SSBB pictures/movies/those little scenes you can make with trophies or stickers/custom stages.

www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/mball/mball07.htmlReturning Pokemon If you haven’t played the last game or the one before that, you may be left wondering something like, "Why isn’t this Pokémon or that Pokémon in the game?" All I’ve been introducing are the ones new to this game. So now I’d like to introduce several of the Pokémon that appeared in past installments that will be appearing again in Brawl. Suicune Lugia Entei Staryu Bellossom Ho-Oh Wobbuffet Togepi Snorlax Celebi The likelihood of mysterious Pokémon appearing is quite low. Mew and Celebi are especially rare, but they may leave you some kind of present. Mew dropped a CD. Accept it with gratitude!

Wobbuffet was useless and where is the joke Magikarp option? Goldeen replaced magickarp in melee and im pretty certain has already been confirmed for brawl. I like how it mentions that this ones for "new players" who may be wondering why pokemon arent in it but it doesnt mention that these are not playable characters. Nevertheless this isnt a bad update

I think it was always goldeen. There was never a magikarp in the game.

http://www. newgrounds.com/portal/view/413257Someone on newgrounds made this, a flash based on the news announcements and so on from the main site. Rated M, reason for the spaces. There's some good parts and some...well... borderline gamefaqsish parts, but its amusing.

Yay for Mew and Celebi actually doing something now, other than just giving points, but damn it about Wobbuffet.

I can't wait for the Smash Bros. update on what the A button does...boy, is this getting tedious. Eh, true, but you can only put so much out in daily updates. If anything, I like getting some small things on days now and then, to help build up anticipation for the next big one.

The Battle for the Smash Ball www.smashbros.com/en_uk/howto/technique/technique09.html A Smash Ball appears! The tension rises. Since it gives you an attack as powerful as the name Final Smash implies, everyone will battle frantically to get it. There it is! Get it! Get it! You can’t get the Smash Ball by simply touching it. You have to bash it and smash it many times until the player who breaks the Smash Ball gets it. The Smash Ball’s endurance diminishes with each hit and with time. How should you pursue it? Even this becomes a battle. Yes! I got it! Once a character gets it and begins glowing on standby, he or she just does a standard special move to unleash the Final Smash. Just press the B Button without any directional input. It depends on the particular Final Smash, but simply pressing the button at a random time or place might not work to your advantage. Some can be dodged fairly well... So pick a position that your move will strike from. Or create conditions under which you will definitely hit your foes. Do all of this while glowing on standby. Now just jump up and fire off that Final Smash! However, if the character on standby gets hit, he or she may fumble the Smash Ball! Even if someone gets it, attack is often the best form of defence! Do you use it as soon as you get it? Or save it for later? Do you run from an enemy who got it? Or do you chase him? You’ll need some instantaneous situational decision-making! And then there’s an element known as the Pity Final Smash. Once a significant point advantage is reached, the losing player is given a bonus chance. When you get this, you will reappear after a KO in Final Smash standby mode. It’s OK to give this out, isn’t it? Now, if you don’t want to use Final Smashes whatsoever, you can restrict the appearance of this item in the Item Switch. If you just turn Smash Balls off, you’ll be set. The game-changing Final Smash. Using it is fun. Running from it is fun, too. "X: Tunnel Scene" (1:00) www.smashbros.com/en_uk/music/music16.htmlComposition Supervisor: Kazumi Totaka Arrangement Supervisor: Yusuke Takahama My song choices for this game were made very carefully after surveying song popularity, using opinions submitted to the Smash Bros. website and listening to the songs themselves. But there are also some songs I added based entirely on my own whims. This one song is from a Japan-only Game Boy game called X. If a song is good, that’s enough for me. Of course, there is no X stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but this time, the songs in Smash Bros. aren’t limited only to those series represented by characters and stages. We’ve taken some that are from completely unrelated games. Can you expect to hear this song or that song? You’ll just have to wait and see.

This music will almost certainly be tied to one of the Starfox levels. Since X is basically the precursor to Starfox, developed by Argonaut, who went on to make Starfox. And here's a SCREENSHOT:

www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/kingdedede.html#3rdKing Dedede: Final Smash <Waddle Dee Army> King Dedede’s Final Smash is a mountain of Waddle Dees called the Waddle Dee Army! Hmm. I guess it’s in his character to leave the work to someone else. Everyone in formation! Clompity-clompity-clompity-clompity! Hup! Hup! Hey! Ho! You can’t tell from a picture, but the speed of these Waddle Dees is quite a bit faster than the ones he normally calls. You need to watch out to make sure you don’t suddenly get swept off the screen. But the most dangerous thing of all is that the spike-headed Gordos are also mixed into the crowd. Owwwwwwww!
