The Prince of Pop moves on. -------------------------------------------- 2 songs enter, 1 song leaves. The B-52s - Love Shack"Love Shack" is a hit single by rock band The B-52's. Originally released in 1989 from their album Cosmic Thing, the single was the band's greatest hit song and first million-copy seller.[1] It was also the band's first song to reach the Billboard Top 40 charts, peaking at number three,[2] also reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart, and was number one for eight weeks in Australia and also number one on the Modern Rock Tracks. Vs. Styxx - Mr. RobotoThe song's video, directed by director Brian Gibson depicts Jonathan Chance (played by guitarist Tommy Shaw) walking in Rock Museum to meet Kilroy and a roboto approaches. After this, it morphs into five robotos moving and dancing. Shortly thereafter, the robotos transform into the members of Styx and including a clean-shaven Dennis DeYoung (he shaved his trademark moustache off at the conclusion of the Paradise Theater tour in 1982 and has remained clean-shaven to this day). The video then alternates between the band playing the song on a stage and scenes from the Kilroy Was Here backdrop film. Then, the member of Styx morph back into the robotos and DeYoung confronting the robotos before collapsing after screaming in the ear of one of the robotos. Then DeYoung awakens to see he is being experimented on and runs off. Then, we cut back to the ending of the first scene of the video and Jonathan Chance climbs on to the stage and before the roboto reveals his mask to be Kilroy, another shot of the roboto with lights on was used to end the clip.

Mr. Roboto moves on, by default according to these guys. ------------------------------------------------------------- Where has HDX been? Genesis - Land of Confusion"Land of Confusion" is a rock song written by the band Genesis for their 1986 album Invisible Touch. The song was the third track on the album and was the fourth track from the album to become a single. The music was written by the band, while the lyrics were written by guitarist Mike Rutherford. The lyrics, further emphasized by the music video (see below), discuss the greed and uncertainty of the Cold War-era 1980s, but evoke a sense of hope for the future. The song is remembered by many Genesis fans because of its video, which featured puppets from the 1980s UK sketch show, Spitting Image. The song was played on their Invisible Touch, We Can't Dance, and Turn It On Again: The Tour tours, though always transposed down a key to account for the deepening of Phil Collins's voice over the years. Vs. Huey Lewis & The News - If this is it"If This Is It" is a power ballad-type song by American rock band Huey Lewis & The News. It was released on their third album Sports in 1983, and was a top ten hit in 1984 on the US Hot 100 and US A.C. The popular Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation, which is known for named each episode after an 80s hit song, named an episode after this song.
