How would rank Buff Bagwell during his wrestling tenture overall? Did you like his gimmick? Wrestling Ability? Promo Skills?

well I was a pro WCW kid back in the day and he did his job of making me hate his guts with the nWo.

He was slightly above-average in the ring; charisma-wise, he was also decent. I, too, marked for the Blockbuster.
I gave him a 6.
I did like his team with 2 Cold Scorpio as a face, and his team with Scott Norton as a heel, but I think that was partly due to my insane markage for his partners rather than ol' Marcus himself.

He had an awesome run with nWo. I think the death of WCW, as well as alot of the early corniness, hurt his career overall.

He was great in the nWo with Norton. He played his role well. He just had no business in the spots he had towards the end of WCW, but Russo was all about pushing any person that hadn't had a main event push at the time.
However, looking back on the American Males tag team... his career gets a ...

I gave him a 3. At the beginning of his career, he was very agile and fun to watch. Then he hit the juice, and he could not move, could not wrestle, and was painful to watch. Don't remember how he was on the mic, tho.

At the beginning in WCW with Scorpio and Riggs he was awesome to watch. Very agile, great dropkick and flying moves. In his nWo times he was just a great douche-heel I really hated him. He was no Kurt Angle, RVD, Liger or Bret Hart, but I think he is somehow underrated. Voting "0" is just plain stupid. I gave him a "7" for overall skill combined with being able to play a great heel. He somehow is a little bit like Orton, just slightly worse.

I'll give him a 6. He was pretty good in his early days. I think the neck injury really hurt his style and skills, but thats probably expected. As a kid, I loved him and Scorpio. Oh and one other thing....

Buff was a great heel from 97-98. His best moment was when he attacked Rick Steiner from his wheel chair on Nitro after coming back from his neck injury in 1998. Other than that, meh.

i voted 9. tho i am a bit biased...but i think he would have been a neat US champ...the guy had bucket loads of charisma and (tho its been noted several times) the blockbuster was awesome. the guy was basically the "original" randy orton-esque character and im quite sad he never really had a run/was crapped on by the wwf/e :\ but hes still buff daddy to me dammnit edit: those who voted 0 are just plain ignorant and prolly know no more about buff then o/~ AMERICAN MALES AMERICAN MALES! o/~ (who btw were tag champs )

When he and Scott first came on they made it big. I remember crowds going DDP crazy for him when he was a face aswell. He just could not grow and the writers could not do a single thing with him that would have made him work.

I gave him a 9. I thought Buff was an excellent character, with good in-ring ability, decent mic work, and he should have be a perfect fit for the WWF(e) once the buy-out happened. I always thought that Buff was the one character in WCW that would translate very well directly onto WWF(e)'s show without any changes at all. I guess his heat backstage killed that very quickly, plus a fight with Hurricane doesn't help.
Either way, during his run in WCW, as Buff Bagwell he had a good character and just was one of the better guys with the company.

Id give him a 6 or 7.
WCW dropped the ball when they kept turning him heel/face every other week

He gets a three from me just because he was the "Handsome Stranger". Otherwise I probably would have given him a four point five.
