OK, Michael Hayes (refereeing the Ric Flair vs. Kerry Von Erich cage match) knocks out Flair and tries to help Kerry win... Kerry refuses because 'it's not the Texan way', 'he wasn't brought up to cheat', etc.
But years later, Fritz Von Erich (refereeing the Abdullah the Butcher vs. Bruiser Brody cage match) knocks out Adbullah and then helps Brody pin Abby for the win.
Isn't this inconsistent?
Here's my theories:
1) Fritz brought up the kids with the "do what I say, not what I do" style of parenting.
2) Fritz is German ( ;D), so he wasn't brought up the Texan way, making it OK for him to cheat.
3) Abby was so out of control that anything anyone did to stop him was all right.
