During the Battle Bowl finale when it was down to Muta and Windham. When Windham threw Muta over the top rope and Muta "skinned the cat," when Muta came back into the ring, Windham had his back turned .
Well when Windham turned around, Muta should've sprayed the mist in Windham's face and then eliminated him. That would've gotten a HYOGE pop.
That is all.

It probably would've, but around that time he was a face in WCW so I guess it wouldn't have worked.

I'm sure Bill Watts thought it would be too much of a heel maneuver.

Muta in face paint was necessary as that was something he was noted for especially here in the U.S and it was part of the Muta character. While the mist was part of his character, he didn't need to do the mist to win the match up. Would it have made a good ending for the Battle Royal? Maybe, but the ending they did was just fine and the crowd ate it up.

I was disappointed at how BattleBowl was basically butchered from the verison from the year before.
1991's Starrcade featuring BattleBowl was one of my favorite PPVs ever. Then, the next year, the whole thing is treated as an afterthought and while Muta's win was fun, it didn't feel as big as Sting's win.

I was dissapointed with the whole commerical release on VHS. Which is what I own. They dont even show ANY of the first round matches in full length. They just show the highlights and then the finish. I think that sucks.
But yeah I think it was an alright ppv. Shows Steve Williams being pushed to the moon. Has some real solid singles matches, lots of guys pulling double and triple duty. And I also liked the entrance. Had guys coming out from two different sides.

The Sting/Vader match was the MOTN IMO.

Did Muta ever get his ring? I had heard he never received it He was supposed to get it "at the next BattleBowl", but he was long gone by then, so probably not. My only problem with the 24/7 version is they cut the entire intro, so we don't hear the announcer calling it "The 10th Annual Starrcade 92". I myself recall Starrcade 92 way back in 83 and 84, don't all of you?

How could I have forgotten the classic battles between Washington and Adams in a cage in 1792 to determine the U.S. Presidency. Or the all-Indian vs all-Pilgram battle that was Starrcade 1492 that saw Chief Runs With Feet turn on his fellow Native Americans in the Loser Leaves Town Match.

I perfectly realize this, but it would've be a mark out moment for me if that would've happened. Not to mention he was noted for his mist just as much as the face paint. Hell they were even showing highlights from Japan WITHOUT his paint on. So your point is invalid.

To each his own I suppose. You didn't say initially it was a markout moment for you, you said it SHOULD'VE happened and I was merely saying that it wasn't needed. I know we all have these fantasy scenarios in our heads about how things should end up, but I think it's best we just leave that work up to the bookers.
