Man, back in the day Fox Kids was where it was at. Every day after school, I'd come home, and watch my ass some X-Men and Spider-Man.
I always liked X-Men a smidge more. Just a smidge, though.
How about you?

The fact Spidey couldn't throw a punch in that cartoon always kind of bugged me.

X-men
How is this a contest?
They both bowed before Batman the Animated Series however.

X-Men seemed more accurate to the comic books but I preferred Spider-man.

I like Spidey as a character more than all the X-men combined, but his 90's cartoon show was way too politically correct. X-men was far better.

.....gotta go with X-Men.
From what I remember, both started well but Spider-Man went completely insane and off-track in its later seasons. X-Men was pretty fun and interesting all the way through.

X-Men.
Both were awesome, but X-Men are my favourite heroes ever, and I simply thought the series was better.

X-men. Spidey's wasn't really that good. Animation was weaker, they changed quite a bit from the source material unnecessarily, whereas by comparison the mutants were a bit closer.. and Spidey show def. shoulda used the classic theme song, rather than the crap they used; which I actually understand Joe Perry came up with-- we're all entitled to churn out something crappy now and then I guess.

Spiderman was decent
I loved Mark Hammil as Hobgoblin & the fact that they made Dr Doom more likable than Reed Richards (I hate reed Richards anyway)

Spider-Man. They mastered the multi-part story. Why Justice Leauge never picked up John Sempter is beyond me. He was working on Static Shock! You could have asked Dwayne McDuffie to bring him along.
Why would you want the Spiderman TAS to follow the comic? At the time, the comics were endless parades of Symbionts and Clones. With that source material, you have to adjust.

Dude, they BOTH got crazy later on. X-Men had the damn Phoenix storyline, the shit with Bishop, the death of Xavier. As a kid, I was CONFUSED AS f***.
