"Beyond good & evil" was a freaking awesome 3 part story

X-Men since they could actually have references to death on that show. Also, I always felt that the voice work in Spiderman was weak, with a few exceptions of course.

X-men. Spidey's wasn't really that good. Animation was weaker, they changed quite a bit from the source material unnecessarily, whereas by comparison the mutants were a bit closer.. and Spidey show def. shoulda used the classic theme song, rather than the crap they used; which I actually understand Joe Perry came up with-- we're all entitled to churn out something crappy now and then I guess. I enjoyed the 90s Spidey theme song. I certainly prefer it over "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, Does whatever a spider can..." That song is catchy the first couple of times, but it grates on my nerves now. The Joe Perry tune I can air-guitar to! EDIT: I vote X-dudes, by the way. Though, as stated before, Batman TAS blows them both out of the water.

Both incredible, but when it comes down to it, the X-Men show gave us Morph. ergo, WIN!

"Does Whatever a Spider Can" is so ingrained in me, I still prefer it, grating or no. But as you said in this case Batman rules em all.

X-men, but both shows eventually became an incomprehensible mess. guess the writers were trying to mirror where the comics were at the time.

neither, i hated both. The stories were sooo long and impossible to get into halfway thru. Spider-man also seemed to cram too much into each epsisode worse than TNA circa last summer

When I was young.... I remember seeing a commercial that featured an alternate conclusion to some sort of storyline... I think it was the days of future past. In any case, it had the Future Wolverine in the sewer and it was revealing who had betrayed the X-Men. He faced the wall and it showed an Older Magneto with hella long grey hair and he told Wolverine that he who he seeked was here and it panned to the left and showed Gambit with long grey hair as well. Am I imagining this or am I nuts? I haven't found nothing on it in years.

Let's see Spiderman top these: Yeah, didn't think so. X-Men wins.

It's very..'Evil Clown' of him yeah. I preferred the early X-men version of him from the cartoon but I couldn't find a pic of that unfortunately =( Man he was hot.

It's hard to choose between them. Both had things I liked.
Spiderman had Spidey's sarcastic quips, great villains in the Kingpin and Venom, long story arcs (which I like), and tonnes of guest appearances (Iron Man, Fantastic 4, The Punisher, etc).
X-Men had great action, a downright amazing cadre of villains, solid storytelling, and an entertaining group of heroes that they took turns focusing on (unlike the movies which were basically The Wolverine Show).
Damn, now I want to go watch.

X-Men gets my nod, though Spider-Man does get props for doing "Secret Wars."
