I don't believe there's actually a size limit on sig pics. That's why the resizer is in place. I do know, however, there's a recommended size. Clarification, mods? We've discussed this before, but it's never actually been published in either the FAQ or the Rules, near as I can tell. EDIT: I take it back, there's a size limit, according to Rule 3. It's just not enumrated anywhere at this point (and I know at one point it was, since at one point we had a guide image stating the pixel dimension allowable). Perhaps some updating to the FAQ regarding this would help? Just a thought. On the whole the image resizer works after you hit refresh. The only time image size usually comes up is either when someone uses two pictures in there sig or they have an animated gif which is huge. I have a question for the mods... If you were a tree...what kind of tree would you be? ... I'll be leaving now... Oak Have you considered putting the Ask a mod thread in the announcement's part so it appears in every forum? I just think that may help some posters who don't necessarily come to off topic ask questions that helps them out. No, but that's not a bad idea. will take this to the mod discussion section. I'm sure you've answered it before but i've been curious about this one for a while but why do all the threads about alcohol always get locked? 14. ALCOHOL & ILLEGAL DRUGS - Do not advertise alcohol, promote the consumption/purchasing of alcohol or discuss actual brands of drink. (It is ok to mention that you might be going to the pub tonight, that you add sherry to the trifle, or when used in a wrestling storyline.) Do not promote the use of drugs. It is fine to discuss topics about drugs, but do not make posts such as "pot is kool, give it a try." Main reason for it is that it is against the Proboards rules.

Trying to think outside the box here.
Can we discuss moments where we have broken the law, used drugs, or drank, so long as every sentence begins with "I deeply regret this, but..."? I would imagine that by using those magic words, you're no longer promoting illegal activity.

A lot of threads are streching like that goatse pic when people post in them. Is this just a temporary problem? Some posters have absolutely humongous signature pics which are the easiest way to stretch a forum page all over the place. I just adblocked someone's 1280 x 720 (!) sized sig that took up most of my computer screen. EDIT: Oh, we already discussed sig sizes on the previous page? Ah well. Still, I believe resizing your signature pic BEFORE using it instead of forcing everyone to refresh the page when coming across it would be nice, common courtesy if you will. I don't seem to be able to type coherently today.

Going through the mod lounge I'm noticing the other guys are gonna try to enforce the no huge picture in sigs rule. So yeah we'll try to get people to have a decently sized sig from now on.

If you post in a thread that gets deleted do the posts still go on your postcount or do they get taken off?

If you post in a thread that gets deleted do the posts still go on your postcount or do they get taken off? 9 times out of 10 the thread is moved to a secret hiding place, so your posts will stand. But if the thread is deleated your posts are deleted too so you lose the post counts

What is the actual policy regarding the length of threads? Most get stopped at 30, but the word assocation in Wrestlecrap has gone onto 36.
Does it mess up the boards if the threads run too long?

When a thread gets too long, the longer and longer it gets the more prone to a boom it is. When it booms, there's a chance a board can be crashed. Thus, when there's multiple long threads, board booms (especially on a bigger one like this) are prone to happening.

I don't know about the Word Association threads, but most threads halt at Page 30.

Would it be against the rules if someone went into a thread under WWE and bashed TNA without TNA even being mentioned before then?
