Oh yeah, I wasn't blaming you for working there. Not at all. It's not the employees I hate, it's the actual corporation itself.

Man, I'm kind of sad to see this thread go.:{
For what it's worth, I consider this thread my crowning achievement on the WC Forums.
Btw, thanks Deadpool for the advice on video stores. Very helpful stuff.
I'm also at a SERIOUS loss as to what franchise to do next. Never really been into the "Phantasm" movies that much - it was suggested to me once. Somebody even suggested the "Leprechaun" movies, but I've really only seen the first one - from what it sounds, the latter ones of those are even worse than the latter entries in THIS series.
And hopefully everyone liked what I did with the H:R review, as I really didn't feel like typing a big, huge hate letter, as it would've just bummed me out. Better to just let a couple of you guys, two of my friends and my late brother do the talking for me on that one.

I've seen the first one, Leprechaun 4: In Space, and Leprechaun in the Hood (I don't remember if that's the actual title or not, but I don't feel like looking it up). All three of them are pretty damn terrible.
I once suggested to you the Candyman trilogy. Not sure how you feel about that one.

I've seen 1 and Farewell to the Flesh - I like the first film, even though it gets a tad too melodramatic at times, but the second...not so much. If I get around to watching Part III, I'll do it. Was the third one a direct-to-HBO or cinemax original? I vaguely remember seeing ads for it on some premium movie channel back in the day.

Ugh, the first Leprechaun is like a 1 star deal, you'd have to start using negatives if you reviewed the rest. Irish eyes will not be smiling watching these flicks.

Can I do Phantasm I love those flicks Cool. Looking forward to seeing your reviews, DD. TR, How about Romero's dead films? Return of the Living Dead? Evil Dead? Fulci's gates of hell trilogy? Or you can take a director and rate their horror films.

TR, the later Lepreachaun films are techinically worse then these, but on the flip side of the coin they don't take themselves as serious as these do so they come off with a little more entertainment.

I've been meaning to get my hands on it, as I've only seen it once many years ago. But yeah, I really loved the first one, and the second one is okay-ish.

At its best, the first "Candyman" is a phenomenal film - unbelievable premise and an ungodly, scary, and slightly elegant bad guy in Tony Todd's urban legend brought to life. It's the human story (Virginia Madsen and significant other problems) that I don't like as much.
