Okay ever since I did my 80's Pop Song Tournament in January I promised everyone I would do an 80's Rock one as well.
Well, after taking a break (it was a lot of work!), and letting some of the games that have come since run their course (I don't like to step on to many toes!), I think it's time to get this rolling.
So everyone, start nominating your favorite Rock songs from the 80's, no limit to how much entries you can have. All I ask is let's not get to obscure, try to make it stuff people know.

Can a song that came out in the 70s or 90s or even 00s count if it was written by an 80s band? Ive seen people here nominate unskinny bop (1990) and i really want to use saints of los angeles if they can use UB.

When I take the nominees up (I'm aiming for 256 like my Pop Tournament) I'll double check the years. Unskinny Bop, due to both the single and album being released in 90, is not elligable.

Sorry, didn't realize "Unskinny Bop" was from 1990. I'd like to change that nomination to "Nothin' But a Good Time" from Poison's 1988 offering, Open Up and Say...Ahh!
Also:
"Holy Diver" by Dio
"Rainbow in the Dark" also by Dio
"See You in Hell" by Grim Reaper
"Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden

I know it's on "Guitar Hero Rocks the 80s" but it's not actually an 80s song.
Anyway:
"Let's Put the X in Sex" by Kiss
"Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey
"Send Her My Love" also by Journey
