Hey Quake have you discussed radioimmunotherapy treatment for your cancer with your doctor. Its an alternative(legit..not some crazy alternative medicine) for those not responding to traditional methods. Try googling the term. My wife is a cancer nurse and has seen some positive results from radioimmunotherapy. I'm not recommending it as I'm not anything close to a doctor. I only play one in the bedroo...ahhhhh nevermind. Seriously, some doctors are not familiar with the treatment as it is fairly new, so it might be something to look into. I'm going to double post this in the I'm Back thread go here just to make sure you don't overlook it. I hope the mods don't mind. Here is a quick definition. Radioimmunotherapy may be a therapeutic option for patients who may have failed prior chemotherapy treatment. Treatment with radioimmunotherapy has not been proven to limit subsequent therapy options including chemotherapy, bioimmunotherapy (e.g. Rituximab), extended beam radiation therapy and autologous bone marrow transplant. www.zevalin.com/hcp/description/Radioimmunotherapy_hcp.html

Hey John, I remember seeing you in the late 80's on Al Tomko's All Star Wrestling out of BC. I have heard Al was really cheap - any favourite "Al was so cheap.." stories? Also, All Star Wrestling would do a couple of shows a year in Ontario, did you ever get to make one of these trips?
Thanks!

I'm kinda new this board, and i don't know if anyone's asked this before. i just didn't bother reading through the 24 pages of questions to see if anyone asked it. now i remember back in 96 when you were still in the WCW and the nWo invasion thingie. alot of old wwf (as it was called back then) wrestlers joined the nWo. my question is.. if you had still been with wcw, would you have joined the nWo? i mean even luger and curt henning joined.

Great Interview on Wrestlecrap Radio Big Guy. I really enjoyed your history as a Sumo, and your training with Giant Baba in Pro wrestling.(your fellings about Inoki seem to have been echoed by Freddie Blassie, Terry Funk, and a few others BTW). One question about Japanese Wrestling, Specifically Japanese Woman's Wrestling. I was a fan of Jaguar Yakota, Devil Masami, and Mayumi Ozaki. Do you think That style of wrestling will ever make it over here, or will it be continued to be kept in the Indy promotions. Pesonally I would prefer watching a couple of women able to do hurricanaranas, Osaka Street Cutters, and Shooting Star Presses, than the catfight garbage found in the WWE, and like the Wrestlecrap induction of Carmen Electra's wrestling. Thats for the time Quake. I'm praying for you Big Guy.

Not many of Warrior's promos made sense. I don't recall Yoko hurting anyone. When I wrestled him I was impressed with his control. I don't watch a lot of nhl right now, sorry, not a priority. I watch college football. Damien wasn't drugged to my knowledge. It's a huge boa not a racing snake. They don't run you down like the movie "Anaconda", they sneak up on you. Watch more Animal Channel. I caught a couple episodes but tired quickly. Yes Knobbs was/is one of Hulk's stooges. I was cracking up when he babysat and hogan's kid stole his clothes, and called Hulk saying Knobbs was wearing his spandex, pretending he was Hulk. Then Hulk gets home and tells him he can wash the spandex, or buen them! I'll check into the radioimmunotherapy. About Tomko. The very first night of tapings two wrestlers got into a fight and broke a wall. Fearing he'd have to pay for it Al used my new fame and said I fell through the wall putting on my boots. He wasn't too cheap with me though, and no I didn't go to Onyario with him. Never lived in Ottawa.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed watching you, especially as Earthquake. What reminded me was re-watching SummerSlam '90, and the promo you gave before the match. You said something like "Call the Red Cross....have the ambulances lined up. Because this is one earthquake you can predict." I was just wondering, since I know promos and such were less scripted then, Did you come up with that on the spot, did some planning before hand, or was it scripted? Thanks, it's great to have you on here 'Quake, may God bless you.

Favorite gimmick-Earthquake Books I read-Right now- The Bible, Mario Puzo-The Last Don. I used to get into Stephen King a lot, but not for years now. Also used to get into WWII books. We really didn't celebrate from what I remember. Probably just the usual big meal, went back to hotel, and got ready for the next day. Pretty boring, huh?

Hey Quake, I've been wondering about this for a very long time, and felt maybe you could have something to say about this.
How much input do the wrestlers have on their theme music? Do they show you a number of themes that you choose from, do they ask you for something you'd like, or do they just give you something and hoep you'll deal with it. Or does it vary with the importance of the wrestler?
I ask this because should I ever choose to wrestle proffesionally, I have some themes I feel that could personify me perfectly. And also because with the recent addition of CM Punk, he's used alot of themes that fit him perfectly, would it be impossible for him to ask to use them. I'm just using him as an example.
And I don't know if you would know about this or not, considering I don't believe wrestlers used alot of licensed music during your time, but how much of a hassle is it for WWE or other companies to use licensed music?

Hey quake! First time poster here on the forums. Our LSU tigers have a big day ahead of them tomorrow!! I got ridiculed to day because I go to the University of Nebraska (I am also from Nebraska) and I wore my purple and yellow today. Also I remember many years ago when you came to Lincoln when you and Andre were feuding when I was very young.
Now to my question. Where did you consider to be your favorite place to wrestle and where was your favorite town that you ever wrestled in and why?

Hey John,
I recall reading in a previous thread that you are a diabetic. Are you type I or type II, how do you find your ability to control it? The only reason I ask is because I'm a type I diabetic who struggled with control but now I'm on an insulin pump and it's helped me tremendously.

Hey, Quake my question is as follows. I remember in the Wrestlecrap foreword you did, you said you altered your LSU tattoo into a shark. What did you do to the tat after the Shark gimmick fell through?
