That DC makes great cartoons but not so great movies and Marvel makes great movies but not so great cartoons? Now, it's not 100% true, but it's pretty close to true.

I happen to think they both make great cartoons and movies. Batman Begins, X-Men cartoon from the 90s (or even X-Men Evolution), I rather enjoyed Constantine.

You have a good point but part of the reason I believe is because DC has not tapped into their full potential in terms of characters to movies. Marvel is now resorting to lesser known characters they have done so much but so far DC has only done
Batman Superman Catwoman
as their MOVIES.
If they made like a Green Lantern film or Wonder Woman film things would be better. It's also hard because about 1/2 of DC's films suck. If they had more movies it would lower the rate.

X-Men Spider-Man Hulk was decent iirc
vs. Batman, JLU, and I guess Superman(though him being more vulnerable than Batman every episode was really dumb)
Batman 1,2,3, and 5 Superman 1 and 2
vs. Spiderman 1 and 2, X Men 1 and 2, Iron Man and maybe the new hulk (haven't seen)
Probably forgot a few, but looks about even.

Is DC really making the Shazam! movie or not?
I would love to see Patrick Warburton vs. The Rock in that movie.

You know one Marvel cartoon I wish did better, Silver Surfer, it only got one lousy season before it was dropped. Now we'll never know if the Surfer saved the Universe from Thanos.

I maybe the only one, but I love Swampthing 2, it's like an 11 on the awesome fun level. While I'm constantly trying to remind people of the film versions of DC's Swamp Thing, I've never actually seen either film. I intend to rectify that soon enough, though.

All I know is I wish that Jetix on Toon Disney would show more episodes of the Batman TAS instead of looping the 30 or so they do now.

Not so much for the "Marvel-ness" of it (as it's quite bad for a Marvel movie), but more in the vein that I loved Monstervision, USA Up All Night, and stuff like that. Just complete and utter cheese, with Australians playing Lousianians. ;D

Thing is, some people have the nerve to say that DAREDEVIL is the worst Marvel movie ever.....I say those folks haven't ever sat through MAN-THING.
