During the part near the beginning where they show the clip of Shawn being interviewed in the ring by Vince from 1993, and Marty comes into the ring to interrupt, a little infobox pops up at the bottom saying that Shawn and Marty were tag team partners...."Until Shawn superkicked Marty through the barbershop window!"
Heh.

WWE really needs to get their facts right. Marty Jannetty was a coward, and had tried to escape the Barbershop.

But see, that's the thing. Everyone refers to it as "Shawn superkicking Marty through the window." I've seen it numerous times on this board, even. But go back and watch it on YouTube or something; I specifically remember a superkick first, to let the heat build and the heel turn sink in, and then it was solidified when Shawn threw Marty head-first through the window. It wasn't "superkicking him through the window" at all. It was superkicking him and then throwing him through it. Everyone seems to ignore/forget that part.

It's WWE rewriting history like usual, just like when Bret shoves Vince down after the cage match, the infobox pops up and says that is where many feel that the Mr Mcmahon character was born.

I agree, it always seemed like people forgot he superkicked him then soaked in the heel heat and threw him through the glass window afterwards. But I guess it sounds cooler to say that he superkicked him through the window and plus most of the younger fans don't know it either.

It bothered me a little when I saw that on the DVD. Shawn threw him threw the window and Marty didn't actually go completely threw the window, as in falling threw to the other side. There were some other things the pop up things said that I thought were wrong or stupid, but can't think of any at the moment.

Looking back, it was pretty edgy of the WWF to have one wrestler toss another through a glass window. I wonder how that got past the censors?

My favorite of those "fun facts" was during the fight between Mr. Perfect and HBK:
"Howard Finkle's car was damaged during this fight. There was $3300 worth of damage."

Another funny thing about the DVD was in the recap of the 3/26/01 Raw. Out of all the guys Vince buried, the only one the DVD showed was Vince's burial of Jeff Jarrett.
