Canterbury was going by his real name at that point because the Godwinns were changing their gimmick to Southern Justice and if Canterbury had not sustained a neck injury, I think they could have been successful with the gimmick.

I wonder how far Blackman would have gotten had he not injured his knee.
He dominated Mero.

I was always kind of curious about this. It looks like it was pretty neat.

The Brawl For All really didn't pan out as the WWF had hoped, which is why its mainly seen in a negative light. Bart Gunn beating Dr Death basically killed the intentions of the tournament.
I remember Quebecer Pierre being regarded as really brave for getting involved because he had lost the use of one of his eyes in a childhood accident, or something to that effect.

How much of this was scripted? Its obvious some of it was, and was entry up to the individuals?

How much of this was scripted? Its obvious some of it was, and was entry up to the individuals? Entry was voluntary. Undertaker could have been in it if he wanted, but no big name would enter something like this, so it ended up being midcard/jobber people joining up to try and make a name for themselves. I don't know how much was scripted, because I assume, if it were scripted, Brakus would have defeated Savio instead of the "German Superman" getting beat down. Someone mentioned that it was mildly scripted after Bart beat Williams, but I'm not sure.

I think the fact that Bart proceeded to knock out every one of his opponents after that fight should tell you that it was definitely scripted.
