I'm kind of curious what it takes to be called a member of the roster for any brand, but since my examples come from ECW, I'll use that. Colin Delaney has been on twice, with speaking roles each time in order to get the crowd to feel sympathy for him (I wonder how many OVW wrestlers that irritates). James Curtis (Alias KC James) has been on ECW three times, including a match against CM Punk. Since Mike Knox hasn't been on the show since...the last time he lost to Punk (a while ago), couldn't Delaney and Curtis be considered ECW wrestlers/superstars more than him? Just my random question...of the day / week/ month/ year/ millienium. Besides, one more subject involving Colin isn't that bad.

James Curstis actually said he was an ECW superstar on OVW. I didn't see ECW, but I'm guessing Colin Delaney is Colin Olsen. I would like to have him be apart of ECW full time, have him be the Mikey Whipwreck of the show.

Wait. Who's Mike Knox again? Someone who really needs to get in a stable with Johnny Parisi and Jim Neidhart?

Yep, I am with all the people saying Colin Delaney is going to be the underdog. I am pretty sure that after a few weeks, he will get a flukey win over an over-cocky heel.
It would have been better if he just got the huge upset on his first appearance though, since it would have been totally and thoroughly unexpected. Now that they have had him appear multiple times and even do an interview, it seems more obvious that he's gonna do something important sometime relatively soon. Like back in 93 if they had the 123 Kid do interviews and stuff before his win over Razor, it would not have been as shocking.

I think the Shelton thing was different, because he wasn't an unknown since he had success on Smackdown, and he didn't have the underdog "look" that Colin does. The 123 Kid's early years were very scrawny looking as well. With Shelton, it seemed like more of a midcarder pulling off a surprising victory over a main eventer. If Colin Delaney would have beaten Big Daddy V, that would have been an upset of epic propotions.

When the "stars" would beat the crap out of perenial jobbers every week? I'd say Iron Mike Sharpe was part of the roster, despite winning only a few matches out of hundreds, so sure. Return of the JOB Squad?

I wonder if Colin Delaney could be the second coming of Sean Waltman. I mean I hope this guy goes straight the roster, he sells very, very well maybe second to Santino and I like the whole underdog gimmick they have for him and it fits unlike Santino because Colin looks like a skinny nothing. I really hope this guy stays and when he gets success bring up his big brother Jimmy Delaney(aka Jimmy Olsen) and they could feud with M & M for the tag titles.

If Colin becomes a regular, so must Jimmy. I'll miss the Olsens in Chikara, but it they were booked as underdogs for a while then allowd to really cut loose against say, Londrick, I'd be all for it.
