Sting has said, that he has never had issue with the WWE storyline wise. He was very close with signing with them in I believe 2003 for a WrestleMania storyline with the Undertaker. I remember him saying the money was good enough, but that is all they had for him. On angle with the Undertaker and then take it where it will from that. He also is not a fan of the full time schedule. He needs to be the person to have Ric Flair retire. I believe in an interview Sting stated it was just that a deal was reached too close to Wrestlemania that he thought the angle would be rushed and would not play out the way he'd like so he declined.

How is his look a Warrior ripoff? That doesn't make any sense what so ever.
The schedule. Dind't want to be on the road 300+ days a year at this point of his career.

The designs were different. 2. Like the poster said they were a tag team and BOTH used face paint. aAs the Blade Runners. Sting is one of the Greatest of all time weather he worked for Vince or not doesn't make him better or worse. When you win more matches than lose in feuds against Hogan, Flair, Rude, DDP, Luger Jake Roberts, Foley. He must have been doing something right.

Exactly, nerdin.
I guess the OP was unaware of Sting and Warrior breaking into the sport together as part of Rick Bassman's PowerTeam USA (sans face paint), and then tag-teaming in the UWF as The Blade Runners (Rock and Sting).
Then Hellwig bolted, leaving Sting to partner with a young Rick Steiner as part of Eddie Gilbert's HotStuff International stable.

I think its fair of Sting to think the way he did before coming to the WWE, but then again I can't help but feel if he feels like he's on a high horse. Yes, during the InVasion storyline you could see the blatant favoritism, but like one poster had said earlier during the Booker/Rock feud, that was The Rock. Rock would and could easily bury anyone because that was just he style of conducting his promos. To my record, I think he's probably the only wrestler to have constantly made fun of the Undertaker while in his satanic gimmick. You don't get much worse than slapping the Mickey Mouse tattoos off somebody. I think a "Who in the blue hell are you comment" is a lot less damaging then first in comparison. But, maybe Sting has a valid reason for feeling the way he did, so I can't blame him. Just my two cents.

Also "The Crow" face paint was Scott Hall's idea, not Sting himself.

I just listened to that video... and I gotta say that example of Booker T makes no sense to me. Booker was buried by WWE? Oh totally! He was only world champion, and a regular main event star on Raw and SmackDown for how many years? As for the "who are you?" line... well that was the Rock. That was his schtick. Hell, he did that to almost everyone. He did it to Jericho when he debuted, and didn't he fail miserably? He'd say that to guys who had been on WWE programing for ages. He just played the role of an egomaniac who thought he was better than everyone else. And in a way the InVasion was like two worlds colliding. These two shows had been airing at the same time as each other for years, many fans who didn't watch WCW were probably also asking "who are you?" As much as people like Sting want to believe Vince doesn't push people right, there's so many examples of former WCW guys making it bigger in WWE than they did in WCW that the theory completely falls flat. Jericho, Mysterio, Benoit, Guerrero, Big Show, Foley.... and all he can give me is the fact the Rock asked Booker T who he was in his first appearance... who might I add then went on to become a huge star anyway despite this alleged "burial". Uhm you forgot someone. If it wasn't Austin, I'd probably not even bring it up. Give yourself a stunner for forgetfullness.

I think the main reason Sting doesn't want to enter WWE is they probably only have one big angle for him, and after that, he'd just get punted in the head by Randy Orton and vanish.
Sting already has his legacy and he did it without Vince's help, he doesn't need the money, so why bother?

Sting's main beef was that it really took Booker more than a year after that to be seen on equal grounds as a WWE superstar. DDP was always higher on the card than Booker, but never reached that level. Y2J,Mysterio, the Radicalz, they weren't aquired the same way DDP and Booker were no were they on the level of DDP or Booker in WCW. That is where Sting's beef comes from.

i don't think it's anything to do with how the character is treated
there's no way the mcmahons could do worse to him than the crap wcw did at starrcade 97

seriously, it has nothing to with trouble between sting and mcmahon. Sting was in talks with vince several times during his career in wcw. they just didnt seem quite eye to eye on certain things. sting has said this himself.
as for now, I really think it´s just the schedule that WWE would most likely require of sting, and that´s not something he wants to do.
as for sting being misused or having only one storyline going is kinda silly. i can think of two they can do, two major ones. Retire flair and an undertaker vs. sting feud. michaels vs. sting in a "God on a pole" match... og wait, we´re talking WWE, not TNA!

THey buried him!

One thing Sting should regret is not being on the big one, Wrestlemainia.

One thing Sting should regret is not being on the big one, Wrestlemainia. Why does Sting need Wrestlmania? Sting is already established as a wrestling legend. Many of the WWE stars of the Attitude Era were already defeated by Sting at one time or another. I have watched Sting wrestle through practically his whole career and I for one hope that he never joins the WWE. Sting was a perinniel main event wrestler most of his career and I hate to see him go out in a mid card WWE status especially against todays inferior WWE product compared to yester years.
