Maybe Vince doesn't want HIM, ever think of THAT?! Maybe, but McMahon did try to bring Sting in at one point so he did want him at some point.

Improperly like: not being given a World Title? Quite honestly, I would not book Sting in any different way than as a Special Attraction, in a feud with another Legend, but far far away from any significant World Title. No, improperly like: WWE "creative" not having a whole lot to do with him after his initial appearance. This goes hand in hand with the scheduling issue. What would you suggest WWE do with him if he were to get signed to a part time deal? What's the point? It's not as much about titles as it is about purpose. Good for Shawn and DiBiase. As you know, everyone feels differently about things. People hold themselves to different standards. What's right for Shawn and DiBiase may not be good for Sting. Are you serious? Sting?? How would you like me to count the number of ways that statement is wrong? PWI most popular wrestler of the year - 4 times (more than anyone else in the history of the rag ever) - 3 of which were before he put on the "crow" makeup (91,92,94 and 97 respectively). He also won PWI's "Wrestler of the Year" in 1990, for those of you keeping count. How many MOTY candidates has he been a part of? How many big cards and PPV's have hinged on his participation? He's a huge part of wrestling history, dating back to the first Clash of the Champions, where JCP dared put a free card on national television to "compete" with the WWF's marquee Wrestlemania. Main event against Flair, anyone? The begining to a 15 year rivalry? And let's not forget that he's a 2 time NWA world champion and a 6 time WCW champion, among other things. But no, you're right. He's nothing but a cheap "crow" rip off. I'm sure glad you think that, because I'm certain that if Sting went to Vince tomorrow and told him he was ready to come to work, Vince wouldn't toss him to the curb. They need all the roster help they can get right now. I don't know what show you're watching. I'm not sure what you're trying to qualify here. You couldn't put Steve Lombardi in Sting's makeup and have it work. True, Flair had a hand in making Sting what he is today, but you can't honestly say that Sting had nothing to do with his own success, can you? Your and my opinions aside, regardless of what we think, Sting is a bonafide legend, who I'm sure came up with plenty of his own ideas and brought his unique charisma to the table every single time. There's no denying that. Yes, I can. Everyone always says in interviews that "they saw Steve Austin coming before he did". Same with The Rock. In both cases, it's been quoted several - several - times that their best gimmicks were when they stopped playing a "gimmick", and had a hand in creating their own personas. The Ringmaster and Blue Chipper Rocky Maivia? They both sucked somethin' awful. So did Vince McMahon's original vision for Mankind. In fact, I could sit here right now, off the top of my head, and list at least a dozen "can't miss" prospects over the last 10 years, and tell you exactly how Vinny Mac screwed it up. Even HHH was a goofy midcard/curtain jerking cartoon when he showed up. Only the most talented performers have been able to work around Vince McMahon's cartoony "genius" and make it work regardless. Thankfully, Sting won't be one of them.

PS I never see Sting vs Taker happening becuase Taker will Mike Awesome him 'He's similar to me and over? DIE'
Edit: I just realized how someone might've taken that, I meant how Taker buried his abilities, I seriously forgot Mike passed on.

i don't think it's anything to do with how the character is treated there's no way the mcmahons could do worse to him than the crap wcw did at starrcade 97 You mean when they put the belt on Sting and ended Hogan's year long reign and the entire back came out and celebrated with him? THey buried him! i'm referring to the stupid as f*** finish where they had hogan kick his ass the whole match and actually pin him during the match, only for bret hart to come out and restart it, making sting look like a complete pushover i don't know what match you were watching
