Cut for swearing.
Superstar Billy Graham and Honky Tonk Man weigh in. The Honky Tonk Man was cut out of the last one I put up due to time. And Superstar probably has the best perspective on the tragedy, being at times a spirtual advisor for Benoit at some points.

So, Benoit killed Nancy because she was into bondage?
No no no ... Benoit killed Nancy because he was a sick S.O.B. Don't try to sugar-coat it.
I've known some people who were into S&M. They're still alive. What does that tell you? It tells me that ... well, nevermind, because I think this thread should stay open, but I think you get my drift.

He said that maybe the reason there was no signs of a struggle was because she thought she was getting tied up for something else.

So a guy dressed as Elvis is doing detective work. It didn't stop the numerous other wrestlers who had over the top gimmicks from chiming in on it. It's possible that she probably did think it was some S & M act, not saying it is or it isn't, but it's possible.

But that doesn't change my opinion that stuff like that is about trust, and Benoit obviously blew that out the window. I dunno ... I'm gonna leave this one alone, because the whole situation just makes me sick to my stomach.

He said that maybe the reason there was no signs of a struggle was because she thought she was getting tied up for something else. you see the second part is the worst part. I mean he was of "sound" mind because he had made arrangements all before hand, about everything, if he had survived he would have been tried guilty as there was so much overwhelming evidence pointing to 1st degree murder. if he killed his wife who was expecting the usual rough sex, only to kill her. then kill his son. then do the bibles. and the whole debacle about inheretence. this is some effed up crap. i really wish Benoit would have survived just to see where the loyalty of the benoit apologists would lay.

God, I hate this whole situation.
In one breath, I want to remember Benoit as one of the best wrestlers I've ever seen, as someone who finally got his due on the biggest stage, who did everything he did with great pride and skill, but also as someone who was hurt by recent losses, chief among them Eddie.
On the next breath, it's hard not to look at interviews now and think about what he did... how he ended three lives with just a horrible amount of barbarism.
Speaking for myself, I often find myself just saying three words over and over: "Why, Chris, why?" I'll never understand... and I'll probably never reconcile the two sides. It'll always hurt to see Benoit in the ring, but you also feel just a shadow of the excitement... which enhances the pain.
Dunno what else to say.

I've heard the theory that her death was accidental, and it's quite possible. People have been known to die in sexual escapades gone wrong. Everything that happened after that was obviously planned, though.

I didnt watch the link because afterall what the hell does anyone whose not Benoit know... Exactly my stance as well. I don't want to damn his sould, because there have been scientific documents stating that he was not running at full capacity. But on the other hand, I'm not going to believe those documents 100%, because every once in a while, they happen to be wrong. I can't judge him as a man, because I was not with him, so I have no idea what really happened.

I never thought I'd be happy to hear someone had brain damage. for all we know it could have been a triple murder made out to look like a double murder suicide. not saying it was, but crazier things have happened.

He must have had brain damage. He chose Superstar Billy Graham as his spiritual adviser. Probably thought he was the other Billy Graham.
