Anyone remember this from Mania 19? Lawler was going on about it the whole night, how guys came in here to film "Wrestlemania the Movie" and hyped it all night, especially during the end of the Austin/Rock match, about how the last image of the movie would be the Rock standing over Austin and stuff.
What ever happened to all that?

It's on the WrestleMania 19 DVD.
Just a 60-minute documentary.

It's one of the greatest things WWE has seriously produced, it's amazing stuff, telling the non-kayfabed stories regarding Rock/Austin, Lesnar/Angle, Y2J/Michaels and more.

Each year before Wrestlemania, I watch a few WrestleMania matches to get myself somewhat excited. Its one of my most anticipated things I get to watch every year..and I usually watch "The Mania of WrestleMania" (which is one of my all time favorite things they've ever released) along with "The 10 Greatest Matches in WrestleMania history" (hosted by Naitch). I think Wrestlemania XIX is my favorite WrestleMania of them all..which is probably why I enjoy that documentary so much.

The best part of it was the Austin/Rock backstage story and the Kurt Angle/Brock post-match stuff in my opinion.

If I could keep a few WWE related videos, Mania of wrestlemania would be top 5 material.
Its awesome, and no one but Jessie Ventura could have narrated that thing so wel!

I agree with what everyone said, Mania of Wrestlemania is awesome. It's a shame WWE doesn't do this for every Wrestlemania. They should film the entire experience and stories of superstars during Wrestlemania weekend and include the movie in the upcoming DVD release. It would make every Wrestlemania DVD a must have and would definately boost sales.

Nice. ;D Gotta love Jericho vs HBK/Austin vs Rock/Angle vs Lesnar and quite possible the most entertaining Vince match -- McMahon/Hogan street fight!
