I know the WM 3 has been fabricated over the years. But the sight of the audience WM 3 was just impressive to look at nonethless. But do u think Vince could do it again being that wrestling isnt as popular as it once was? Do ya think it could be done drawing that many viewers again?

I really don't know. I guess it would depend on where it was located.
Despite this year's 'Mania proving otherwise, you would think it would have to be indoors.
I htink they can legit fill a 95,000 seat place for something like 'Mania 25 or 30.

Even though WrestleMania III was actually around 78,000 people (they inflated the numbers), it could be easily done again.
WrestleMania 23 was very close to that number, I believe.

The Dallas Cowboys New Stadium is built to hold 80,000 but could be expanded to 100,000+. If WWE were to host a WrestleMania there, they could probably easily push to a legit 85,000+ crowd.

wembley stadium could definatly hold about 100,000 plus, it's a 90,000 seater, so with the just a ring, it could hold more.

They should do a Summerslam at Wembley again.

Easily. They drew 80,000 or so for WM 23. A number of college stadiums can hold 100,000 before you add seats on the field. It's do-able.

I can't see how Wrestlemania III held 78,000 people when previous football games held there had 80,000. Wouldn't the seats easily take up the field. I'm not saying the attendance record was exaggerated, but I feel it certainly held more than the "true" number. Maybe somewhere in the 80,000s.

The question is whether they could DRAW 93K+, not whether it's possible. It's definitely possible.
Everyone knows what they should do. Bring in Kevin Nash, that'll fill up the place that night. They won't be able to count the number of people there because the ticket takers will leave.

I have so many reasons as to why the "78,000" figure at Wrestlemania 3 is just a negative myth. Anyway, after seeing the crowd that they drew at Wrestlemania 23, I have no doubt It's possible.

I'm not saying the attendance record was exaggerated, but I feel it certainly held more than the "true" number. Maybe somewhere in the 80,000s. Here are my questions: -If Wrestlemania 3 didn't draw 93,173 people and that number was just made up, then how many people did it actually have? I've never heard an actual number. All I hear is people talking about the actual number, things like "sources say the actual number was closer to 78,000" or things like that. You would think that the exaggerated number wouldn't be the only one recorded and that the real number would have been recorded somewhere. -Also, If I always hear 78,000 people as the number, that's all I keep seeing. You mean to tell me that it was exactly 78,000 people right on the button? I don't think so. Everyone knows that this number is rounded off. Butt rounded off from what? OH, I know! It's rounded off from the real number! ofcourse I can't tell you the real number because either A) It actually wasn't recorded, which dosen't make any sense for WRESTLEMANIA FRAKIN' 3! Or B) the "real number" dosen't actually exist, because the 93173 is the real number. -Also, The old Pontiac Silverdome is said by today's fans that it only held 80'000 fans. Hello, It held 80,000 fans FOR FOOTBALL. Which means, it had 80,000 seats (the exact number was 81 thousand and something) These do not count floor seating for Boxing, basketball and Wrestling. A wrestling event could easily have had 12,000 floor seats. -We know that the old Pontiac Silverdome fitted over 80,000 stadium seats. Now, as far as everyone who has ever viewed a pic of Wrestlemania 3, the building was sold out, reguardless of how many fans you think were there. The thing is, is that If it were really sold out, it would have had to have been over 90,000 fans. If it were really 78,000 or so fans, then that's not even enough to fill in the stadium seatintg by itself. So If you had, say, 10,000 people on the floor, you would have had 68,000 fans in the stadium seats, which means you would have had to have seen 13,000 empty seats. Look at the pics and tell me you see 13,000 empty seats. -Also, I figured that Wrestlemania 23 would finnally shatter this "WM 3 78,000" myth once and for all, but I guess it hasn't. See, the Idea is that Wrestlemania 23 drew a legit 75,000 + fans (the actual number is out there). You can look at the two pics and compare the two. Do you mean to tell me that WM 3 had only 3,000 or so more fans than WM 23!?.

Hogan vs Austin would draw 100,000 easily...the only reason they didnt have more at ford field wasnt cause they couldnt draw them, its cause the building couldnt hold anymore people.

Fatal Four Way...Hogan vs Austin vs Flair vs Sting.
Arguably the 4 biggest names in wrestling ever.
That would do it.

I say looking at WM3 photos, perhaps another 3-5,000 fans which would bring it up to 85,000 est.

It would be WrestleMania. More and more people buy it each year regardless of the show or product. No doubt it would sell out if they went to a 93,000+ stadium.
They better have it here in Dallas when that Stadiums done. Im like 10 minutes away from it...

I think it could be done. Imagine WrestleMania taking place at, say, the Rose Bowl.

You also have to take into consideration that now WWE Wrestlemania backdrops take up an entire section of the stadium.

I'm surprised at the number of people showing up considering how stale the product has gotten, especially in the last five years. It must be considered a victory, for them, just to have a dozen people in the building with the garbage they put out there...
I'd like to see another World Peace Festival that showcased real talent and broke the record from 1995...
