I wasn't quite sure where to put this topic, but I picked up this set of figures today, and they fricking rule my soul. They're GI Joe sized, and I already have a decent 'Joe collection...so needless to say Edge has ninja henchmen and the top heel faction is about to be COBRA. The following image came from another forum, but I had to fricking share the awesome going on here. Tell me that doesn't f***ing rule ass. Anyway, yeah, I know I'm marking out like a 6 year old here (fortunately me being quite young at heart is one of the reasons I'm loved...thank...god.) so I'll shut up, but I thought some of the other collectors might think this is cool, and I couldn't find the wrestling figures topic. The sad thing is, these figures seem to be detailed better than Jakks' main line is. Which is fine, because I can't stand Ruthless Aggression figures anyway. I'd rather have these.

Great another size of wrestlers to but my kid, he has micro wrestlers, the normal size ones, and a few doll sized bash and brawlers.

still seems like a waste of a line to me. same with micros. sorta with ring giants too because of the lack of classic figures (we've had a grand total of 3, one of which was impossible to find).
to each their own.

Cool idea to milk the franchise some more.
Although from the "Build and Brawl" title, I was kinda hoping that Jakks was going to start doing a Create Your Own Custom Figure line, kinda like Stickfas.

I must have these!
You know of any release schedule? Whatever it is in US I can wait twelve months longer for an Aussie release if any of these.
Now Sgt Slaughter wont be alone anymore! Mind you I dont think he will want to be teaming up with Cena but hey what can you do

I'd just watch wrestlingfigs.com's frontpage, they usually have upcoming figure assortments posted a while before they hit stores. It's what I use as my heads up.

Thanks, I will look into this around here.
In terms of comparison to the old Joe line, movement and such all the same?
I always dreamed when I was a kid that they released Wrestling figures along the same design as the Joe's. Oh cruel world why did it have to take twenty something years!

Yep, pretty much the same plus wrist and foot articulation sans the pain of experiencing a broken crotch. They're as posable as the more posable GI Joe 25th Anniversary figures, if not a little bit more.

If they do not continue with this series I am going to be shattered. Just hope they bring out a ring too! ;D
