I wonder how the documentary is going to mention his TNA tenture. He disappeared from wrestling after WCW folded. Everybody knows that. Besides, not even TNA recognizes the fact that he was in TNA in 2003.

Sting did wrestle in that Australian promotion after WCW folded though. That should at least get a mention since the promotion was a bit bigger than the normal indy fed.

I wonder how the documentary is going to mention his TNA tenture. It could easily be omitted. If WWE didn't bring up Jeff Hardy's tenure in TNA, I doubt they would now with Sting. Also, TNA is nowhere near a big promotion that WCW was for most of the audience to even know what it is.

I don't see it happening like the Warrior DVD. There would be a lot of guys who would raise a big stink over this(probably every ex-WCW guy). I don't think you could pay enough guys to say bad things about Sting. From all I've heard, he's pretty damn likable. Flair would certainly be against that. What other WCW guys are left, though? Chavo, Yang, Moore, Palumbo, Noble, and Helms are about it, aren't they? But I completely missed your point. Yeah, they wouldn't do a hack job on Sting.

I'll be honest, it took me a good half minute of real hard thinking to even remember the name of the organization(WWA).

I presume WWE will mention that Sting worked for "some independent promotions" after WCW folded. This way, they can briefly cover WWA and TNA without mentioning them by name.
The only way that WWE will ever mention another company is if they own their video library.

I think one disc will have to be dedicated just to the various awesome matches/moments between Sting and Flair.

I see this DVD being very much like Shawn Michaels's considering their stories in wrestling are somewhat similar when it comes to the drugs/women and the born again.
Hopefully, Sting is on board though.

As was said, has anyone ever heard anybody in the wrestling biz say a negative word about Sting? The guy is a martyr in wrestling circles. Whether or not he comes in for a run isn't relevent. I don't see this dvd being anything but a serious look at the work and career of a wrestling legend. Even Vince can't change that.

The only ones who I've ever heard say anything bad about Sting are Vampiro and the Ultimate Warrior. And both of those guys are crazy, so their opinions don't matter much to me.
Anyway, seeing as how Sting is my favorite wrestler in the history of wrestling, going back to the mid-'80s, I can't wait for this DVD! Hopefully it has equal parts pre-Crow footage and post-Crow footage. I'm hoping that the 45 minute draw with Flair from the first Clash of the Champions is on here. That is the one match that I've been wanting to show up on DVD since WWE got WCW's footage. I had heard a rumor a few years ago that they couldn't find the footage from the first Clash though. Has anyone else ever heard this rumor?

Didn't Sting just re-up for another year with TNA? We won't be seeing Sting/Flair

Well, keep in mind, Sting has always said he wouldn't wrestle for McMahon. Let's hope he can at least work with him so something like the DVD comes off.
As for TNA, want to get an official word on a contract. As we know from the Monday night wars, your word, quite frankly, is worth a wooden nickel in this business.

I just hope they keep my idea for the title of the DVD set...
"Sting: the greatest wrestler ever NEVER to set foot in the WWE ring".
