I just like to know the most about this dvd is what matches are gonna be on there? All I can think of is his WM3 match with Steamboat off my head.So what matches are we gonna see and if anything will we see Randy savage at all on WWE tv?

I don't think he'll be going to the Hall of Fame seeing as the DVD will be released in October and the Hall of Fame takes place in March/April. There's still definitely the possibility that it could be a burial DVD.
Also am I the only one who would find it hilarious if the Macho/Stephanie rumors were true and they talked openly about it on the DVD? Don't forget Steph was 18 when Macho left so...

His match against Warrior at WrestleMania should be on. It's my 2nd favourite match of his.

There's also that whole little problem of this not being completely confirmed and all.

I hope the DVD doesnt turn out to be a Warrior type one. I would like to see most of his WCW and nWo matches on it.

I hope Savage doesn't get the "Self Destruction" treatment. It would suck if he wasn't involved and then they had Hogan on there talking about Savage. Granted some of the Hogan rants I've read about Savage probably have some truth to them. I know Sherri did some interviews in WWE HQ before she died (this interview was used for the AWA and Michaels DVD), I hope she spoke about her time with Macho when they interviewed her.

His match against Warrior at WrestleMania should be on. It's my 2nd favourite match of his. If it's the retirement match from WM7 then it's already on the Warrior one and the WM DVDs so it's a slim chance but it is in fact a great match. I hope it's not a hatchet job DVD. It can't be. Theres nothing really out there to dig up, that we know of anyway.

I'm looking forward to seeing this DVD,if it gets made right.I never really realized how much of a Savage fan i was 'till he retired and i re-watched some of his matches. There's a match Savage had with Beefcake on a SNME in the summer of '89 that i've always loved that should be there.

Theres nothing really out there to dig up, that we know of anyway. Oh there is a TON to dig up. Not judging Macho Man by any means, but just about anyone who wrestled in the 1980s at that level has more than a few skeletons in their closet. Just off the top of my head someones that could be claimed by his detractors (although they aren't necessarily all true to the extent that they could be strecthed) *Abusing Elizabeth (I think he was probably just overprotective, but his detractors could say different) *Cocaine abuse *Steroid use (In the 1980s who didn't right? But if this is a burial they'll bring it up) *Hitting Hulk Hogan the night before Wrestlemania IX and giving him a black eye (Could be fact or fiction there) *Purposely going against in-ring orders (Macho was a great in-ring talent, but there's that widely spread story that him and Ric Flair agreed to wrestle a match for Vince one way and then once they got to the ring did something completely different causing them to have to re-do the match) *Using WCW as leverage to get moremoney from Vince (Again sure Macho wasn't any different from anyone else, but if this is a burial its more fuel to the fire) *Abusing Gorgeous George (Again who knows?) *Being one of the old guys that held down WCW's young talent (though it would be hilarious if Hogan pointed this out) *Steph? I don't really agree with all of these and am sure Macho is innocent of nearly all of these charges, but if WWE wants to shoot Macho Man down, they have plenty of ammo.

I do not necessarily think this will be a "Self-Destruction" type set, but to those saying it can't be a hatchet job because there’s nothing to say about Savage, I think WWE could still try to criticize him if they want to. They have the power of the editing room and can choose which interview quotes to use and which clips to show. If Savage is not on the DVD, but Hogan is, it could lead to a very one sided DVD (especially with the way Hogan can stretch the truth). I really don't expect them to make a negative DVD, but I think it is at least possible. The following are things they could do (I’m not saying these things are true or that they will make these arguments):
Even though I disagree, some make fun of Macho's interview style. I could definitely see superstars imitating his voice. Also, they theoretically could say that Macho tried to hold on to his "spot" when he was getting old and less able in the ring and that Randy should have been helping to build new stars for WCW (or Savage held down young talent in WCW). I think there were people more guilty of that than Savage, but WWE could theorectically make this claim. Personally, I think Savage almost single handedly made DDP, though DDP was not exactly a "young" star when Savage helped make him. I could see them mentioning or showing a clip of the Nacho Man and Huckster if they made that argument. Hogan has indicated that Savage was a control freak/detail freak when it came to planning out matches and segments, but this trait could easily be seen as a positive. Hogan has also said that he and Savage were good friends over the years, but sometimes Savage would get paranoid and accuse Hogan of trying to get with his wife/girlfriends and the friendship would end for awhile. Then there's the rap CD they could easily razz him for.
Sherri said at the HOF that Savage was a "psycho," eliciting laughs from the audience. Perhaps WWE can get some of their interviewees to echo this sentiment. If Hogan said Savage was a control freak and that he got paranoid over his wife/girlfriends coupled with people insinuating that he was a "psycho," then WWE could try to make the argument that Savage suffers from severe "Macho Madness."
Again, I’m just saying it is possible to do a hatchet job. I don’t think WWE will do anything like I’ve described.

Well, if they do a Self Descruction type of DVD, one guy who won't talk shit about Savage is Heenan. Heenan said in his first book, if he were to start a promotion, the first three wrestler's he'd hire is Lanny, Randy and Angelo Poffo. Because they always did what's right for business.

then again lanny is on good terms with the wwe so I'm sure it won't be a complete slaughter of savage.
