I'm shooting it out there. But what if Matt Hardy won the RR. It would be the year of the non roidos. 2008 DRUG FREE.

Either way, I really wish the WWE would keep the winner of the Rumble pretty ambiguous this year. I mean, each year, with the weeks leading up to the Rumble, the winner pretty much just emerges and gets the huge push. This year, with people like Hardy, MVP, Kennedy, Lashley, Shelton, Finlay, etc....There are pretty many stars to choose from.
With only about 3 weeks left till the Rumble, it seems like they are doing a good job at this right now.

While i would love it, I don't even think that Matt will be ready to participate in the RR.
Besides, I think it is obvious that the winner will be UT.

We don't know Matt Hardy is drug free. I'm not saying he does take drugs, but I'm just saying that we don't know if he does or does not.

I miss the days of my youth when I didnt know how planned and political wrestling was and it always seemed like a mid carder won the rumble, and I didn't have a clue who'd win, and it definetely never seemed like a top carder won.

Taker two years in a row? doubt it. Someone from RAW. I bet H gets back in the rumble somehow. Build it like the Benoit rumble

I also doubt it's going to be Taker. I'm betting on a RAW guy myself. The last guy to win the Rumble from RAW was Batista in '05.

I think Undertaker is going to win. I have a hard time believing otherwise..with HHH taking the Elimination Chamber.
Undertaker/Edge
&
HHH/Orton
That's your Wrestlemania, folks. In the words of Vince McMahon.."I Guaran-damn-tee it!!"
I like UT/Edge..but I'm against the HHH/Orton..maybe if they throw a 3rd man in with Orton/HHH..I'd be happy.

I'm thinking (okay, more of hoping) that Benjamin wins the Rumble. Since they say this year you get the shot at the championship on your brand.

The winner gets a Mania title shot stipulation has led to the predictability of the Rumble winner, though adding the World Heavyweight and ECW Championship could potentially make the Rumble winner less obvious, though who in their right mind would challenge for the ECW Championship if they had a choice between the three belts?

Shelton, Matt, Jeff would all be great winners. Just to throw it off a bit.

What would happen if Flair won the rumble but lost a career threatening match BEFORE mania? Would that mean he's retired?

This whole thing with HHH losing his Rumble spot has thrown me off as to who's going to win it. I want to say Taker is the obvious choice if HHH stays out, but something tells me he's not going to win it 2 years in a row. Other than HHH and Taker, my next guesses would be Batista or Flair. Other than that, I have no clue.
