triple h is the best ever and sting stole his name from signer sting. he wares a ballernia outfit and has the look of clowns. sting was champion in wcw but so was a lot of guys who were bad in wwe.
i say triple h will win but people have not seen sting wrestle for years since wcw got cancelled and will watch wwe v wcw dream match.

My dream match...
Sting vs Taker.
Build it up with them never facing until WM.
Then have them tear the house down. I don't care who gets the pin... Whoever does, we all win.

It occured to me, that if I posted this topic I should do my own So here goes:
Its Royal Rumble. Ric Flair has just survived his battle with MVP. We cut to Vince McMahon looking disgusted. He turns to Regal and says he can't believe Flair survived. He and Regal have a short conversation which ends with Vince saying he has an idea.
Next Raw, Flair comes out and cuts a killer promo. Vince interrupts and ask Flair if he's happy?
Flair says "of course. My career is going better than ever."
Vince says he has something that will make Flair regret his decision to not retire, cause at No Way Out he will face this man:
Cue Ricky Steamboat. Than Vince adds that is, if Flair makes it to NWO because for the next several weeks he will face blast from the past.
That night Flair faces Barry Windham. Flair wins and his career continues
Next week Flair faces Roddy Piper. The two friends have a good match which Flair again wins.
Flair has a break until NWO where he collides with Ricky Steamboat.
I know these two wont be able to recapture the magic from before. But I'd say they'd go 15-20 minutes, with Flair getting a suprise roll up for the victory. Cut to Vince. He seems oddly at peace with this victory. Regal inquires as to why. Vince says his idea goes a lot deeper than Steamboat.
The next night on Raw Vader is shown with Vince. Vince says that tonight if Flair survives the stipulation is over... if he wins by Pin or submission.
So the match happens, Vader kills Flair but just when it look likes he's gonna win the match the lights dim. When they return Flair is laying atop a bloodied Vader. Flair wins and the show ends with the lights cutting out again and a scorpion logo on the Titan Tron.
The next week on Raw, Vince is questioned by Regal if the rumors are true. Vince tells him to shut up. That night Flair comes out and cuts a promo on Vince, Vince interrupts as usual and states that he knows what happened. and he's already signed it for WrestleMania. This time he says Flair MUST WIN! or he will be fired. The lights dim. Sting lowers from the rafters and stares Flair down. He grabs the mic and tells Vince:
"I can't believe the disrespect you have for Ric Flair. This man made me a superstar. And yet you send into matches with men younger, stronger, faster. Now you want to use me as a pawn in your personall vendetta? I won't do it."
Vince than would say, that Sting isn't even contract with the WWE, and that this was his one chance to wrestle for them. Vince has Sting escorted out of the building.
The next week Vince books Sting and Flair VS Steamboat and Vader at SNME. At SNME, Flair and Sting win. Flair grabs the mic and says that while he understands Stings decision, he also wants Sting to know, that if he has to have a lost match, he can think of no better person than to go out against than Sting.
And at WM we have the match. It goes for 20-25 minutes and at the end Flair pinned cleanly. He and Sting shake hands and it's done.
Sting would than go into a fued with HHH that would culminate at SummerSlam and than face Undertaker at Survivor Series. He's inducted into the 2009 HOF and at that years WM he faces and loses to John Cena after a 30 minute epic.

I think Cena and Sting would pull off a classic. That idea is a pretty good one I must say to bring Sting back if possible. Good job. -Hopefully this Ric Flair angle has something big waiting like this not just a Flair vs McMahon match. -The end of that Vader match would be a total markfest for me.

I'll bite.
JAN 08: Ric Flair is fighting for his career every week. And every week, he keeps finding ways to win; be it by cheating, countout, etc..
He gets a win at the RR and after the match, the lights flicker. When they come back up, there is a perch in the aisle near the ring. On said perch is a crow(of falcon or whatever bird he used at COC back in the day).
RAW AFTER RR: Flair cuts a promo about his career and how he's been up and down the road more than anyone. He's interrupted by, oh..let's say Elijah Burke. Burke talks about how Flair's past due and how he(Elijah) is the future. Flair delivers a classic line "I've had more shower time than you've had road time, kiddo." Match is set up for that night. Flair wins with the figure four after Elijah's Express misses(a perfect set up, I might add). Again, after the match, the lights flicker and another perch with another bird is there. Flair has a somewhat worried look on his face this time.
FEB 4 RAW: Flair cuts a promo on the perch/bird incidents as of late. The fans, not being stupid, know who's leaving these messages. Flair thinks he knows, but isn't letting on too much. Mid-promo, the lights flicker again and this time, the perch is there again, but on the perch is a Sgt. Pepper style jacket. Flair's jaw drops and he leaves.
FEB 11 RAW: After squeaking out a victory over Shawn Michaels(by reversing HBK's new finish into the FF), Flair gets on the mic and straight up calls out the mystery man. "I know who you are. I know what you want. STING!! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!" He obliges and the result is a huge pop. Staredown ends the show.
FEB 18 RAW: Sting has his first match and beats Trevor Murdoch without breaking a sweat. After the match, Flair comes down and they exchange words. Flair wants to know why Sting is showing up so late in both of their careers, ect..Sting delivers one of his classic promos, detailing how many times Flair screwed him over, how many times they've went 1-on-1, how many great matches they've had, the emotional match on the final Nitro, the whole gamut. "We've been up and down the road for 20 years, Ric. And if anyone is taking you out, it's gonna be me!" (huge pop) "So, NAYCHA BOY...I say one more time...STING! RIC FLAIR! (looooong pause) WRESTLEMANIA!"
Flair smiles at this challenge as they go nose to nose. Sting is damn near salivating. Flair rips the mic out of Sting's hand. "You got it, pal!" He then low blows him and puts him in the figure four as the camera fades to black.
The rest of the weeks leading to WrestleMania have Sting helping Flair win(Sting would say that he was 'saving Ric for me') and Flair trying to avoid getting attacked by Sting before the WM match. Several great promos lead to WM..
WrestleMania: Sting and Flair go 15 minutes(if you think they can't do it, kiss my ass) in what would be the match of the night(for sentimental reasons, if nothing else). The match ends when Sting counters the figure four with the deathlock. Flair taps, Sting releases the hold. After Howard Finkel(DAMN SKIPPY) announces the winner, they embrace, tears in their eyes.
There ya go.

Retire Flair at Wrestlemania, then retired by having Snitsky punt him into the Audience 5 minutes later.
He MUST be Surfer Sting, not gothy Crow Wannabe Sting.

Debut by kidnapping Stephanie and demanding a large sum of money from the company.
Then HHH saves Stephanie by beating Sting down and next month on PPV, Sting loses clean in the ring to Stephanie in a wrestling match and then leaves the company.

The night after Wrestlemania, Vince McMahon announces a draft to take place in June. He also promises that at the draft, a legendary superstar will be arriving in the WWE.
For the next couple of months, there is speculation as to who this superstar might be. Randy Orton begins campaigning to get the first crack at him.
At the draft, Vince reveals the newest member of the roster, Sting. Sting cuts a promo, saying how great it is to finally be in the WWE, then ends it by choosng to go to Smackdown. Edge comes out and challenges Sting to a match at Vengence.
At Vengence, Sting battles Edge in a 20 minute match, ending when Edge misses the spear. Sting hits the Scorpion Deathdrop and gets the pin.
Later that night, Sting appears in the rafters, watching the World Title match between The Undertaker and Big Daddy V.
On Smackdown, Sting challenges Undertaker to a title match, but BDV comes out, looking for a rematch. Teddy Long makes a number one contenders match between Sting and V for next week.
During the match, Sting has just hit the Stinger Splash and seems set to win, when the Rated Rmy comes out to distract Nick Patrick. Edge slides in and spears Sting, allowing Daddy V to win.
Edge challenges Sting to a rematch at the Great American Bash, but Sting wants to up the ante, so Teddy brings back War Games. Over the next couple of weeks the teams come together, and at the Bash, Sting, Matt Hardy, Kane, Batista, and Cody Rhodes beat Edge, Hawkins, Ryder, Mark Henry, and Atlas DaBone in the War Games match.
Teddy announces that since Sting's team won, Sting can have any match he wants at SummerSlam. Although he wants the World Title, Sting says there is a guy he'd love to face: CM Punk. In the weeks leading up to the match it's clear that there is a mutual respect, but neither guy plans on going down easily.
At SummerSlam, Sting and Punk tear down the house in an epic match, where Punk is able to pin Sting after the GTS. Sting shakes hands with Punk, but asks for a rematch at Unforgiven. Punk accepts, and asks to make it a submission match.
At Unforgiven, Sting makes Punk tap out to the Scorpion Deathlock. Teddy then announces that Sting will get a World Title match at No Mercy against The Undertaker. At No Mercy, Sting wins the belt, but is attacked by Randy Orton as soon as the match is over.
It's announced that Orton has been suspended for a month for his attack, but that he and Sting will meet at Survivor Series, for the World Title. At Survivor Series Sting defeats Orton, and then beats him in a rematch at Armageddon.
Going in to the Royal Rumble, MVP is looking to get a shot at the title. At the Rumble, MVP beats Sting for the title. He also wins the rematch at No Way Out.
Sting then comes out on Smackdown to announce that he will be retiring after Wrestlemania, but he wants to have one more "showstopping" match. This brings out Shawn Michaels, setting up a match for Wrestlemania. Vince McMahon makes it an Iron Man Match and appoints a special referee: Ric Flair.
At Wrestlemania, with the score tied at 1-1 with 30 seconds left on the clock, Michaels misses the Sweet Chin Music, allowing Sting to lock in the Scorpion Deathlock. Trapped in the center of the ring, Michaels has no choice but to tap out, just as time expires.
Flair raises Sting's arm, and Sting shakes Michaels' hand, and embraces Flair, as a great career comes to an end.

I don't think they could ever bring Sting in for a program. Maybe if just that one match with Flair, but after that just induct him into the hall of fame, release a DVD, and that's it.
