While Angle may not have sparked ratings, he's given TNA publicity, consistently good matches, and fun promos. While TNA is doing a lot wrong, there is nothing wrong with signing a star like Kurt Angle. Lashley isn't a star like Kurt Angle. Kurt can open his mouth and not sound like a kid in middle school. While this may be the case, this is why bringing him to TNA could perhaps do some good. Imagine Bobby Lashley in a team with Booker T where Booker did most of the promo work? heck, anyone in TNA managing Lashley would be pretty cool. I do agree he's got no voice, but a Tomko vs Lashley bout might be pretty cool.

Let him go do MMA... he just doesn't fit into pro wrestling. He's not overly talented and he's not a showman. He's best off in MMA where pure amateur wrestling skill actually would matter and get him over.
And why do I have a feeling this has something thing to do with his girl getting released.

I give it three days before the previously negative hatred of Lashley round these here parts morphs into "Lashley was great, loved him, why did they let him go?'.
For my part... it's a shame. If he'd never have talked, and stayed fit, he'd have been very good.

That bathrud finlay?
His dad's uncle?

Your assumption is most likely correct, although I have no idea why Lashley would flush a potentially lucrative contract down the toilet just because his girl isn't in WWE anymore. Lots of people's spouses don't work in the same company as them, why the nepotism?

This is someone that TNA must pick up if this is the case.
