I agree with TNA would be dumb not to try and pick him up. While, he is no way as valueable name wise as Angle, he is someone much like Tomko, who they can build the company around in the future who is a former WWE star, but could be remember more for being a TNA star if that's where he chooses to go.
With that said, I won't miss him.

I never really cared for watching him on television. He just couldn't convey any emotion. That same blank stare every single time on the screen. That was my one real problem with him. Dude wasn't a bad wrestler by any stretch of the imagination, and could get people into his matches once he actually got in the ring, but on the mic, he was dead weight. |

Let him go do MMA... he just doesn't fit into pro wrestling. He's not overly talented and he's not a showman. He's best off in MMA where pure amateur wrestling skill actually would matter and get him over. And why do I have a feeling this has something thing to do with his girl getting released. Your assumption is most likely correct, although I have no idea why Lashley would flush a potentially lucrative contract down the toilet just because his girl isn't in WWE anymore. Lots of people's spouses don't work in the same company as them, why the nepotism? Well, the reason she was fired was because she refused to do a storyline that would have made her into a sexual character much like Lita was with Edge. Thus there being 26234 Divas with no morals who just want air time.. they figured why bother with someone who would be difficult who is easily replaced. I have a feeling that didn't sit too well with either of them. |

Lashley isn't a star like Kurt Angle. Kurt can open his mouth and not sound like a kid in middle school. While this may be the case, this is why bringing him to TNA could perhaps do some good. Imagine Bobby Lashley in a team with Booker T where Booker did most of the promo work? heck, anyone in TNA managing Lashley would be pretty cool. I do agree he's got no voice, but a Tomko vs Lashley bout might be pretty cool. Haha! I can see a promo now. "No." "NO!" |

That sucks. He could have been huge. He still had alot of time for wrestling and if given the chance he could have been something.

So, if he goes to MMA, will he have to remember not to stomp when he throws a punch? Will he try to get out of the cage for the win? Will he still look like a muscled up Wayne Brady? Nah, he'll get a call from Dixie Carter for a TNA contract.
