I don't miss him one bit. And I didn't even hate him.

Think of the money that is freed up now. Maybe they could get a couple good wrestlers.

Yeah, I'm sure he got a hefty amount of bonus money from PPV bonuses and working plenty of dates, but his downside guarantee probably wasn't that huge seeing how he was still fairly new. Unless he was one of those guys they had projected for a top spot from the day they signed him and he got a larger than usual deal upon signing. I remember reading that Jerry Jarrett got Vladimir Kozlov a really nice deal, so Lashley could have gotten good money as well. Even in that case though, I doubt he was getting anywhere near what the top veterans get.

With the returns of Jericho and JBL and Cena, no not really. If he did come back things would have probably gotten too crowded near the top. Think of the money that is freed up now. Maybe they could get a couple good wrestlers. Like indy guys that do a bunch of flippy moves? If nothing else it makes room for some OVW guys to move up. Maybe they could put DH Smith in his place?

Paul Birchall in OVW still? It might be time for Colt, too.

did it affect it? Sure, in the way anyone who had gotten a push leaving affects it. Is it major or significant? Not really.

They never should have stopped the pirate Paul Birchall gimmick.

Don't know if this was posted yet. source: www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/wwe-news/exclusive-bobby-lashley-tells-wrestlingnewsworld-com-he-s-finished-with-wwe-full-update.phpWe are now able to confirm that Bobby Lashley is gone from World Wrestling Entertainment. In a phone call placed to WrestlingNewsWorld.com’s Ryan Gray, Lashley said that he is gone from the company. While he would not give any specifics he made it clear that he did not want to leave but had too due to circumstances beyond his control. Lashley told WrestlingNewsWorld.com’s Ryan Gray that he was training hard for a potential career in Mixed Martial Arts. The former ECW Champion said that despite the fact that he wanted to pursue an MMA career, it would not be with UFC. Lashley would not comment on whether or not he would be interested in going to TNA Wrestling. He said that WWE has granted his release but it would not be announced until the paperwork was finalized.

Lesnar wasn't already injured before he came back. We've already adjusted to a lack of Lashley, so him disappearing now is making very little difference.

In other news:
Source - Wrestling Observer Newsletter
An indy wrestler in the Carolinas that goes by the name Janus told coworkers two weekends ago that he has signed a developmental deal with World Wrestling Entertainment and will begin training in FCW soon. He is said to be a huge African-American with the right look, so to speak, compared to the same stature of Bobby Lashley. He was trained in Virginia Championship Wrestling and debuted about a year ago.

All I took from it is that he's a big dude who can do a triple powerbomb and a frankensteiner.

The cycle continues, a guy playing a ripoff of another guy who is a ripoff of another guy who is a ripoff of a another guy. Bill Goldberg > Brock Lesnar > Bobby Lashley > Janus
