I would agree with that. I'm just pointing out that Halls of Fame have separate wings for things that don't have a lot to do with the sport itself. I just don't see the problem with a separate celebrity wing that is made perfectly clear is an entirely separate group than the wrestlers and wrestling personalities themselves. The problem first off, is the actual Hall is nothing more than a list at this point, there isn't an actual place of being. So there can't be any real "wings" because there's no smurfing building. And there are plenty of people I would agree to including Mr. T, Cyndi Lauper and Andy Kaufman, people who actually CONTRIBUTED to the sport itself rather than just being there just for an easy paycheck. They still make it perfectly clear that it is seperate, building or no building and as for contributing to the "sport" Trump hosted 2 Wrestlemania's and Participated in another in which his involvement garnered huge mainstream publicity and generated a great buy rate.

It doesn't matter what they say because if I went to their website, I'd find Pete Rose's name on the same list as Bret Hart. And that's their only foundation of a true HOF is right there. And I don't doubt that Trump didn't help pull a lot of people in, but his role wasn't as innovative as the others I listed. Maybe he's worthy sometime in the future, but as far as right now, I'd rather just keep it to the most worthy wrestlers. Just my preferance.

I think its much more of an outrage that Maivia (who deserves it) and Rocky Johnson (who is borderline at best) gets in just as cheap excuse to have The Rock make an appearance (because you know he's cutting a promo on someone March 30...Santino I'm looking at you) And I will agree with one thing, T, Lauper, Uecker, and LT all deserve to get in before Trump.

I think Johnson would've been better inducted with Atlas since they both achieved their best success as a tag team. I'm mixed about Maivia, only because I'm not too familar with him. The thing I hate is that they wouldn't have been inducted if the Rock was involved, that seems pretty cheap to me. That's like being invited to a stag party, only if you bring your hot girlfriend along.

I would rather Trumpy from Pod People get inducted into the HOF. Joel Robinson can induct him.

Well I can see how he has done more for wrestling then Pete Rose so why not.
But why has Mr T been ignored?

If Pete Rose is in the Hall of Fame, basically any OTHER celebrity deserves to be in it. Hell, smurf Trump. Let's put Cindi Lauper in. Rock and Wrestling? It could happen. Cyndi Lauper SHOULD be in the Hall of Fame. She was apart of the biggest angles in the 80's keading up to the first Wrestlemania. She made a bigger contribution to WWE than all the celebrities currently in the HOF combined.

But seriously just about anyone qualifies for the HoF seeing as how its based on Vince's mood. Otherwise Macho Man and Warrior would be in there by now. Okay Warrior would have probably refused in a 20,000 word ramble.
