That's what I got from Smackdown last night, and from the WrestleMania website for the match. (There's no longer a mystery figure). So it looks like Shelton, Morrison, Kennedy, Punk, Jericho, Carlito & MVP are it. What are your thoughts on their being 7 contestants? I don't care really. The very first one only had 6 combatants: Jericho, Edge, Benoit, Shelton, Kane and Christian, and it was my favorite MITB match so far. |

I know I'm silly for hoping this, but three people I'd rather see in that spot are: Elijah Burke, Jimmy Wang Yang, or John Morrison. I'd also be fine with Kofi Kingston, The Miz, or Brian Kendrick. Ummm Morrison is already in. Huh I did say Morrison didn't I...ugh that should have been Shannon Moore. Yeahhhh that's the ticket...... |

With MVP in it, Matt Hardy will be a mystery contestant. I'd put money on it. I think this is what'll happen too. It makes a lot of sense. I used to, but with all the stuff going on with Jeff, I wouldn't be surprised if Matt asked for his return to be pushed back (if he was returning at WM) |

Yes... unfortunately you are! I'd love it too, he's so tall he'd only have to climb a couple of steps though. A Khali elbow from the top of a ladder would be a wrestlemania moment. I'm only saying it because the match needs variety. Not everybody in it should be a high flyer/technical wrestler. |

I think they should either pull someone from the match or add Matt as a surprise entrant. The heels outnumber the faces to much.

Then they'll announce Matt as his replacement.

I remember this time last year. We had the call the spots thread. I get the feeling nothing new will go down. The only thing I guess will be cool about this MITB is the finish, due to its unpredictabilty?

They might make it seem like Hardy couldn't participate cause of personal problems. So they'll either have one more qualifying match where Matt gets in or they'll just put Matt in the match. |
