That's what I got from Smackdown last night, and from the WrestleMania website for the match. (There's no longer a mystery figure).
So it looks like Shelton, Morrison, Kennedy, Punk, Jericho, Carlito & MVP are it.
What are your thoughts on their being 7 contestants?

Thank you Captain Obvious! Just kidding. What's it really matter if there are 8 or 7? As long as it's entertaning and Mr. Kennedy........................Kennedy wins, I'll be happy.

With MVP in it, Matt Hardy will be a mystery contestant. I'd put money on it.

There will be another. Too many heels.

I hope they add another person to it as a surprise because it becomes to easy for them to just have 6 of them pair off and one of the heels sneak in and grab the case.

Actually, I thought having eight last year was too much. I liked the six-man versions a lot better anway. I'd mark if Matt Hardy's music hit out of nowhere and he was in the match as a surprise. The announcers could question if this is even official or how he got to be in the match. If they don't want to do a surprise (I love surprises), then they could have him win a qualifying match on TV next week or on a house show (as a surprise).

Well, in the WWE they have had many cases of a wrestler naming his own replacement. It would only make sense that Jeff would give Matt his spot.

Am I the only one who would've liked to see Khali in the MITB match?

I know I'm silly for hoping this, but three people I'd rather see in that spot are: Elijah Burke, Jimmy Wang Yang, or John Morrison.
I'd also be fine with Kofi Kingston, The Miz, or Brian Kendrick.

I'm still hoping for an 8th wrestler. But more than likely, the E will keep it at 7.
