it wasn't funny the first time the joke was made in this thread, and its not funny now. Seriously. I'm so sick of people making that much light out of something as serious as THE MAN'S HOME BURNING DOWN. I don't care who you are, that's a life that's just disappeared. He's gotta rebuild from there. AND his dog died. Come on, don't be a douchebag here. This is not the place. It's black humor. It's not illegal. Is it offensive? That REALLY depends on who you are. I don't see why him finding it funny makes him a douchebag. IMO it's not very funny, but something like that is so open to interperetation as to whether it's acceptable or not that there's really no need to tell him if what he did is definitively right or wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy black humour, but I generally only tend to enjoy it when it doesn't involve real-life situations, even involving people I can't stand. Does that make a pussy or something? Maybe, but it doesn't matter...I still think the joke was entirely unnecessary.

I've always thought that he deserved his suspension, but hopefully this will lead to his employers and colleagues being more supportive to him though his rehabilitation. I imagine some in the company may have been spiteful toward him because of a perception that he blew it for himself and the company after they had given him such a big chance or that he damaged months of booking toward Mania. I think Jeff would have a better time in rehab if those in the company were less inclined to exhibit coldness toward him. Perhaps this tragedy will lead to more people in WWE being supportive of him during his trying time.
If he can get clean and healthy and rehabilitated (get his life back together), then he should really be welcomed back with open arms and not punished on TV through booking. The suspension is supposed to be the punishment. To punish him through booking only damages the company's own investment. Jeff Hardy is an asset to them and when he is able to come back and he has served out his punishment, he should be utilized to help the company. To punish him through booking is only hurting their own investment. If he screws up again, he will have to be released due to policy and Jeff knows this. Hopefully he can mentally and physically get over his addictions and dedicate his life to living clean. Wrestling should not come before getting clean and healthy and in a right state of mind.

I found the methlab joke to be funny. I feel kind of sorry for the guy. Especially for his dog.

For some odd reason, after no visible mainstream coverage about this on any North Carolina websites, I'm thinking it could be a sick rib from Matt & Jeff for being left off Wrestlemania/suspended.

Meh. Jokes that would be deemed in bad taste don't get me. In fact, I enjoy some of them, but then my take on life isn't right anymore. I would expect my misfortune to be mocked in a similar fashion by those closest to me. Even when times are tough if not especially. However it can quite backfire as there's always that one time someone's not in the mood. We have fun. I however will not be making such jokes. I don't think there's anything funny about Jeff's deal at all. Talk about a tough spot to be in. Regardless of y'alls drug stances the man's home is no more. Maybe he can turn it around in his head to where all in his home that burnt was old Jeff and devote himself to his rehabilitation. Create new Jeff. Something. He's close to success, he's close to failure.

The lack of class I see from some people really saddens me
I really hope the poor guy can recover from this. Say whatever you'd like about his poor choices when it comes to his career, but nobody deserves for this to happen

I didn't know that Jeff lost his dog also. I'm not Jeff's biggest fan, but I hope he can somehow recover as best he can from this.

If you thought he was on the drugs before...
Seriously though, I do feel for the guy. Hopefully this is absolute rock bottom for him and he can get his shit together.

I always thought Jeff was gay..... Pay attention folks, this is a prime example of what not to say in threads like this. I wasnt making fun of the guy. He's got my condolences, and i feel horrible about what has happened. But i just remember internet rumours for years that he was gay, something involving the towel he used to wear in his back pocket, and the fact that the Hardy Stratus romance storyline was killed so fast....and the whole Rainbow Haired warrior thing....
