Heel/face turns aren't what they used to be. Remember back in the day when a heel turn or a face turn really meant something? Remember when they just came out of nowhere? Those were awesome.
The only one that I can think of in recent memory was Austin's surprise turn at Wrestlemania X-7. Although it didn't really last, the shock value was there and it got everyone talking.
If you had the book, is there anyone on the current roster that you would turn heel or face? How would you do it? And on what stage?

I was just looking at the rosters to see who I would turn, they really need to end the brand split the rosters for each show (Especially Smackdown) are looking really thin.

I'd turn Cena, Hunter, and Shawn (if he refused I'd just suspend him without pay) heel and put them into a stable with Orton and JBL. This super-group would run roughshod over WWE until a new guy rose up to stop them. By turning all the top stars heel and putting them together WWE would be forced to create NEW top stars. And the heel group would have insane credibility.

One word: Undertaker. I'd let him chokeslam Vicky Guerrero again, attack Chavo and the Edgeheads randomly during their matches untill they're all in kayfabe-hospital safe for Edge. Then Rey comes back and challenges Edge for the WHC. And just to make the heel-turn final, Taker interferes in their match, Edge runs out, while Rey gets tombstoned and Taker cuts a promo that Edge's title means nothing to him, and that now he just wants his soul. Edge does a promo, how Taker attacked his friends and his family-in law and that he'll avenge them at the next PPV. On the PPV, Taker dominates Edge for most of the match, then the Rate Rmy (including Vicky) interferes and get the collective asses kicked. Edge spears Taker and retreats to look after Vicky. Taker gets up again and is hanging in the ropes taking a break, the Rey interferes and hits the 619 on Undertaker.

Well, I believe someone on Raw needs to turn face. With Hardy out, Big Show and Finlay on SD and Jericho acting heelish...
I'd turn Kennedy face, I guess. I'd have McMahon basically treating him as his lackey. Telling him to beat up anyone Vince is mad at. Kennedy would finally start telling McMahon he's not doing it for Vince, he's doing it for himself.
Kennedy would start getting caught cheating, so he'd give up on that and try to defeat guys cleanly. Then Vince/Regal would start having others run in and interfere giving Kennedy two or three DQ wins.
Finally, Kennedy would have enough. With a match against HBK or whoever, when guys would run out to interfere, Kennedy would knock one of them off the apron. One would get into the ring and he's run them across and throw them out. He'd try to continue the match, but both men would get beat up.
This would set up a Regal/Kennedy program and along the lines, somewhere Kennedy would get to take Vince down with the Mic Check as well.

Shawn michaels being jalous that he is stuck with the 60 year old and left out of the main event. Let him help Orton to beat Cena or HHH. I would likie to see the pairing of HBK and Orton.

so Stevie Richards gets put into the MITB match in Jeff Hardy's absence, along with tommy dreamer, and wins it. dreamer confronts Stevie about it, but appears gracious in defeat. the following week, he faces tommy on ECW. dreamer does a piledriver, and the match is stopped immediately as Stevie is rushed backstage.
now bear in mind before hand that all wwe employees would be sworn to secrecy, as well as the immediate families of all the people involved in the storyline. if it is found that any major employees object to the angle, it doesn't go ahead. however, presuming everyone(including droz) is okay with it...
the next week, tommy wheels Stevie out on the ramp. Stevie gets on the mic, and does a heart-rendering speech about how his dream was to become champion, but that'll never happen now, as he's paralyzed from the neck down. he then goes on to say that he doesn't blame tommy, no matter how many times tommy apologises. he thanks the fans for the memories, and is taken off stage. next week, tommy cuts a promo devoting his entire career to his fallen friend, and saying that he will win the ECW title not just for his dreams, but for Stevie's too.
so after months of working his way up the ladder, tommy gets ahold of his elusive title shot, only for chavo to purposely disqualify himself. tommy then does another interview where he says that he should've known what chavo would do, and that he's let everyone down, only for Armando Alejandro Estrada to give him a rematch under extreme rules.
on the night of the match, the wheelchair bound Stevie stresses how proud he is of tommy, and promises that history will be made, and that people will be talking about the match for years to come. so after a brutal match, tommy finally captures the ECW title, but the match has taken such a toll on tommy that he's unable to stand, just staying lay in the ring, with tears running down his face. suddenly, Stevie Richards' music hits, and he runs (yes, runs) to the ring. tommy musters up the strength to stand, and hugs his seemingly recovered friend. after the embrace, Stevie grabs tommy and launches his through a nearby table. he then grabs a chair and begins beating the crap out of dreamer. he goes to the outside of the ring, and pulls out the MITB briefcase, pointing to his head and laughing maniacally. one superkick later, we have a new ECW champion, and a damn good heel to boot.

I so want Jericho to go heel again, and it looks like its happening. He was always most entertaining as a heel. To be honest though, if that is indeed what they are trying to do, no one is really gonna boo him for clocking Big Show with the IC belt, no one gives a shit.

I like the idea of Cena going heel. He would get insane crowd heat. If you were to merge the Raw and Smackdown rosters, I'd also turn Batista heel so that he and Cena can pair up.
Conversely, a face Kennedy is intriguing to me although I do think he plays the role of heel quite well.

I'd turn John Cena heel.
I know its pretty much hack at this point to suggest that but I think it'd be one of the few turns that wouldnt just illicit a "Oh... so hes a heel/face now"
Have Cena lose the WM main event due to something screwy.. next night on RAW he comes out and says he had the match well in hand except for one thing... the fans.
Cena reflects back on his "Thuganomic" days when he tried to be bad they loved him, when he tried to be good they hated him. The fans have no common sense, the women are ugly and the kids stupid. Cena says if its a bad-guy they want it's a bad guy they'll get.
Cena interferes in the Intercontinental Title match later that night between Jericho and CM Punk. Cena FU's the both of them and takes the IC title. He gets on the mic and says "Yo, this titles a joke, it's been held by a joke, so i'm confiscating this bad larry right now. If you want it back you come take it back"
William regal stops Cena in the back and asks him "just what in the hell do you think you're doing?" "you interfered in our bloody intercontinental championship match tonight and you stole the belt" Cena says "Yo, those two had no reason to even be fighting for this. It's mine now sucka, posession is 9/10ths of the law, and if they come for this <holds up belt> I'll beat the other 1/10th out of 'em."
on Smackdown
Finally the Matt Hardy/MVP match for the US title. Match goes for like 20 minutes, crowd loves it, everybody loves it.. and Cena's music hits. He casually comes out, grabs the US title and starts to walk away. He's stopped by MVP who gets smashed in the face by the belt and gets counted out, Cena leaves a business card ontop of the KO'd MVP that says "JC Enterprises".
next raw
Cena comes out with both the IC and US belts over his shoulders. Says he took the IC title to melt it down into a gold brick, because its all about the money and gold stock is THROUGH THE ROOF. And he says he stole the US title because as of 2 pm last Wednesday he's now a CANADIAN. Jericho comes out and says he wants his IC title back and William Regal comes out and says the match is on for tonight.
On Jerichos way down to the ring Cena jumps him and beats him senseless with the IC title, drags him to the ring, demands the match start and he pins Jericho with one foot on his chest to gain the IC title legally Cena leaves a business card on Jerichos chest.
next raw
Holly/Rhodes v Cade/Murdoch
A match for the tag titles. Cena comes down and drags Holly off the aprin and smashes him with the IC belt, leaving a business card on him. When Cody Rhodes goes for the tag Cena tags in in Hollys place immediatlly FU's Cade and slaps Murdoch in the STFU for the submission. Cena claims since he won the match he's now 1/2 of the tag champs. He asks Cody Rhodes if he has a problem with that and Cody just looks at him stunned. Cena then goes "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Rhodes just looks shocked and Cena says "YOU CALLIN ME A PUNK?" and FU's him, Cena then says he's taking both titles as his own. Drops a business card on Cody Rhodes
on ECW
Colin Delaney somehow won the ECW title in a very Whipreckian manner. Cena comes out to the ring and just says "C'mon, ahnd it over" Delaney afraid of a beatdown complies and Cena takes the title. He thanks Delaney and says he's sorry but he needs to keep up appearences and FU's Delaney to the outside.
Cena is now in posession of the IC,US,Raw Tag and ECW championships
on Raw
Woman's Title Match
Beth Pheonix v Mickie James
Mickie James is about to win the Womans title when Cena's music hits. He comes to the ring and FU's Mickie James and has a stare down with Beth Pheonix who slaps him. Cena gets on the mic and says it's a lonely world dominating the WWE sometimes and it might help to have the hottest diva in the business by his side. Beth seems flattered. And Cena offers up his arm and the two start walking arm and arm out to the ramp when Cena flips Beth up and FU's her off the ramp and flicks a card off the ramp ontop of her. Cena walks off with the Woman's title.
next Raw
Theres a box in the ring covered in a black blanket.
Cena comes down and says Triple H may be a champion, Undertaker may be a champion. But theres only one TRUE WORLD champion and he lifts the blanket off the glass case to reveal a Giant Platinum and Diamond belt with a spinning Cena face adorned on the plate. Cena says he broke down all the titles he earned and made one TRUE WORLD-LIFE title out of it...
and then he continues on fueding with the likes of Triple H, Taker and beating up the mid card.

I would have turned Batista heel on Smackdown as it seemed like there was nothing really left to do for him, but the rumored move of Umaga to the Blue Show following Wrestlemania seems like a good enough feud.
For face turns, I'd say the Great Khali. With so many monsters running about (especially on Smackdown), there needs to be some variety. Sure, his wrestling skills aren't exactly outstanding, but when you're his size, what can you do, really? That, and he seems to be such an upstanding guy in real life that it would probably feel more natural.
Another thing that bugs me is the whole "foreign & different = evil" mentality. It's exactly like that Futurama robot wrestling episode (The Foreigner: "I'm not from here! I have my own customs! Look at my CRAZY passport!").

Background:
- Edge has turned on Vickie after he loses the title to Undertaker at WM.
- Edge is facing Taker at Judgement Day. (Backlash would be Edge/Orton vs Taker/Cena)
- Edge's asscoiates all get involved and subsequently knocked out. (Chavo, Ryder, Hawkins, Orton).
- Eventually Edge looks to win until Vickie drags out the referee.
- Edge grabs Vickie and looks to give her a DDT.
- Rey Mysterio comes out down the ramp with a chair, whilst Edge puts Vickie down and waits for him.
- Mysterio gets in the ring and gets face to face with Edge. Eventually turning and nailing the Undertaker with the chair. Then looks at Edge and smiles, points at Vickie and demands he give her a DDT.
- Edge wins and Rey celebrates with him. Turning him heel and finally getting his revenge on Vickie.
- Rey joins Edge's army, possibly with a U.S. title run.

Honestly, I don't see anyone in the WWE right now that I want to change allegiance right away.
Too many characters seem to be in a "retooling" stage as of now.

1. Take the tag titles off Morrison & Miz. Put them on Moore Wang or Biscuits N Gravy.
2. Put the Miz on a tiny space shuttle and then shoot that tiny space shuttle directly into the sun.
3. Put Morrison on Red Show.
4. Have Morrison take the IC title off Jericho and turn face around the same time, possibly during the match in a hard-fought battle where Morrison not only wows people with highspots, but also proves he has heart and guts and determination. Have him gut it out through the Walls of Jericho a couple times to show how determined he is, and ideally have Jericho do some heel stuff (shove the ref, reach for a chair, etc.) to help get Morrison over.
5. To help cement the face turn, have the newly babyface IC champion Morrison blow off heel Melina on camera the following week in an "I'm so over you" skit that makes Melina look like the evil skank. In fact, the skit could end with a "there's no skanks in the palace of wisdom" type line.
6. Make the IC title picture highly competitive with a small group of regular title-chasers (Carlito, Jericho, and Kennedy) as the regulars, plus one-off contenders tossed into the mix every so often like Snitksy, Val, and for laughs, Bob Holly and maybe Charlie. Basically, give Morrison the fighting champion / babyface IC title run Jeff should've had.
7. Keep Morrison in the IC title picture for the better part of a year, dropping it occasionally to Jericho or Kennedy just to see how he works out as The Babyface Chasing The Title. Use that info and that experience to both build up new stars to the midcard into the IC title picture, and to eventually get Morrison to main event status.
