The Ending of ECW last night...

Okay, who else enjoyed the big brawl to end ECW last night?

Chavo wins and starts to celebrate, showing off his title to everyone surrounding the ring, causing everyone to rush the ring.

Well...almost everyone. Festus had been 'shut off' by the bell to end the match and stood watching from the outside as everyone else rushed. That was amusing in its self.

Everyone piles onto to Chavo for a few shots before deciding they'd like to attack their competition...

THEN, people go after each other:

--Jamie Noble grabs Miz, throws him in a corner and just starts pounding.

--Jim Duggan wanders around the huge crowd of people JUST to attack Matt Striker (Who I somehow confused as Nunzio when watching the show the first time)!

--Kane smacks Snitsky with an uppercut (A nice callback to end of the tag match)

--Hardcore Holly grabs Chuck Palumbo in a headlock and drags him to the side, where I can only assume some heinous chops occurred.

--Lance Cade watches on from the background cheering everyone on.

--The Great Khali AND Val Venis work together to stomp someone.

It was awesome, daggone it. Awesome.

Stuff like this is the reason ECW is WWE's best show.

Duggan was smacking Stryker around during the tag match melee. Nice that Hacksaw basically sought him out to continue beating him up.

And of course Kane/Snitsky is a even greater callback to 3+ years ago.

Someone mentioned that in another thread, and that's what got the ball rolling on this idea. Seeing this pic with Kane & Snitsky in the forefront was the clincher.

It sucks that sometimes, the only ones who remember these "little things" are the guys who want to be on the big shows but get looked over. I respect the idea of this Festus gimmick so much more now.

It's really a shame that Battle Royal won't actually be on the main broadcast, it's guaranteed to be a fun match. I can still see Kane winning it though.

I laughed. I admit it.

I just found it amusing that Khali and Val would be working together to just put the boots to poor, poor Chavo.
