My bad if this is old news but I was on FYE's site and decided to check in on their WWE subsection when this listing jumped out at me www.fye.com/WWE--Sting--2-Discs--WWE_stcVVproductId37707352VVcatId515097VVviewprod.htmWith Sting in TNA (and therefore unavailable to do interviews for the disc) I bet it will be a collection of matches instead of a doc......at least I hope it is since without his participation, I have a bad feeling it will be a burial doc like the Warrior one It says it's not due out till December so there's still plenty of time for it to get cancelled.

I thought WWE had canceled this DVD. Maybe they were trying to do one when Sting's TNA contracted ended but then he went ahead and resigned with them.

They cancelled that one.
That said, they also cancelled a Macho Man DVD, and I don't see that on the site.
So I guess FYE just missed this Sting one when they deleted upcoming DVDs...............or did they?

It was canceled, but I highly doubt they'd ever do to Sting what they did to Warrior. When Sting turned down Vince, he did so on good terms. They both still had a lot of respect for one another. Noway even McMahon could downplay the Stinger.

How could you bad mouth Sting? From what I understand he had no major personal issues. Other than saying he never wrestled in the WWE and he isn't a "true superstar" according to Vince, but that would just be tasteless garbage, and I would hope even Vince isn't that pathetic. However the Warrior on the other hand is pretty nutty, and his immense ego, disapearing acts, and drug problems were evident.

I guess when Sting's TNA deal runs out he'll sign a legends contract and participate in the future DVD.

The rumor is the Sting and Savage dvd's were passed through without Vince consent, and when they were brought to his attention they were killed.
To bad also, because both men deserve much more praise then the none they get from the WWE.

However the Warrior on the other hand is pretty nutty, and his immense ego, disapearing acts, and drug problems were evident. Since when were Warrior's drug problems evident? There's never been anything said about him and drugs other than steroids and Warrior has gone on record as to saying he stayed away from street drugs but did steroids. Warrior might be a dick and very egotistical, but I've never heard anyone ever saying he pulled strings backstage other than for money, it's not like he was worried about where his spot was, as long as he got paid. He simply didn't care as much for the business as other people did, hence the disappearing acts. All that said, I've never liked Warrior but there are a lot of misconceptions because the guy is an asshole.
