Because amazingly enough, by the time WM25 roles around Austin will have been retired for six years! Not to forget that it will be in his home state and the site (basically) of his final match. Austin moved to seattle? Or was that Redneck Triathalon in Houston?

That was in Houston (and I keep mixing up the XIX and X7 matches so that was a convenient screw up, lol). Plus since its not bloody likely that Dallas will ever get a WM, Houston makes all the more since. Who are the big names left that are on good terms with WWE? Well, Flair spent a good part of his career wrestling in the Southeast (should have used that originally but, oh well) but, this is also a big part of his retirement storyline to so it doesn't matter where they inducted him.

I think trying to make a connection between Florida and Flair is pretty weak. The minor inductions are of local legends, ones that are near and dear to the people of that area. Eddie Graham for instance. It'd make sense for the Von Erich's next year. I mean if they were having Wrestlemania in Boston you could make an argument for Austin since thats where he won his first championship. Certain stars exceed the region where they orginated from.

Thats why I had Paul Boesch and George Wagner on the list. 1 was the main promoter of Houston region for years. And the other grew up in Houston, and was the first modern style wrestler.

They can enforce a dress code all they want, but all it takes is one group of asshats to start screaming something rude and they've ruined the whole event, even if they get ejected.
I bet 10:1 there will be a small group of TNA fans who get in and decide to scream crap.

Who is the last inductee?
Fox8 for some reason edited out the HOF part on Raw this week.

Which I wound agree with. I think it's a good idea to induct the lesser knowns in their hometowns.

I'm guessing those two were done because the average RAW viewer wouldn't know who they were. Then again, Vince's ideal ECW viewer probably wouldn't know either.

While I can make sense of almost everyone this year being inducted outside of a couple, it doesn't seem like something I would be interested in watching. I understand that there was wrestling before the 80's, but really none of these people strike me as people I'd like to see inducted before so many others, maybe that's me being selfish, but still. I guess the whole idea is that they want no one to coincide with Flair's induction and that it would look kinda weird inducting him by himself.

With Peter Mavia, Eddie Graham and Gordon Solie there will three posthumous inductions. It's a bit gloomy. It will be weird seeing the customary line-up of this year's class at Wrestlemania. Almsot half the inductees won't be there.

Almsot half the inductees won't be there. Probably a sign of things to come sadly. Wrestlers seem to die young anyway so unless we're into inducting people who've retired in the past 3-4 years we'll be seeing a lot of psthomus inductees.

I wouldn't say that Peter Mavia, Eddie Graham and Gordon Solie died young, but I know what you mean. The inductions of Eddie Guerrero and Curt Hening came sooner than expected. At least the the old-school legends die at a ripe age. Graham of course, didn't die naturally.

WWE has awarded a few promoters with the honor of being in the HOF ( McMahon Sr., Graham, Sheik, Gagne and Dudley). What do you think are the chances of Paul Heyman being inducted sometime in the future? I know he was fired by McMahon, but he was given a chance to say good-bye to the fans on TV and it wouldn't be the first time a person with some negative experience with the company would later accept an induction. Although not technically a promoter, Eric Bischoff is someone that I feel might be inducted one day.

The workers are all there already - they were required at Amway Arena at 2pm (an hour ago), mainly to make themselves available to worldwide media, in particular the UK and Japan.
