Ok, so watching TNA tonight, and overall, an entertaining show. I've been a fan of the product for a long time, and prefer it over WWE, although not by a lot. (I've never understood the logic in which you have to "choose" one. Umm, not even on at the same time, I can enjoy both. Thanks.) Anyway, one of the big "misses" in the storyline department is the whole Robert Roode - Ms. Brooks deal, which only got stupider tonight. Now, it's already forgotten that Robert Roode went and chose her over a bunch of other dorks to manage him. (including Col. Robert Parker & the late, great Sensational Sherri). And now all of a sudden, she's dependant on him? Ummm, no. Anyway, with that said, in the Knockout's gauntlet match, as the opening two (Angelina Love & Brooks) are wrestling, Angelina gets whipped into the turnbuckle. And Ms. Brooks gets ready to do a running clothesline or something into the corner. Oh, but wait, before she does, she turns around to the TV side and yells "I hate Robert Roode!" like a 12 year old girl who's mad at the boy she's crushing on. O RLY? Look, ever since they brought in the new wave of female talent, she has been a sore thumb from top to bottom. There hasn't been a match or angle she's been involved in that's been remotely interesting outside of the Eric Young bit, which she was confusing, at best in. Yeah, she's got a fun fake rack of cans to look at, but really, that's so commonplace, you can get it a lot better. I've been enjoying the TNA women's division a lot more than I thought I would. Mainly because they went out and got some talent that isn't just eye candy, they can actually go in the ring. You can't tell me Awesome Kong isn't awesome to watch. ODB has received a very odd, but deserving pop. Even Roxie & Angelina & Velvet Sky have performed some interesting moves, and Gail Kim has always been able to wrestle. Miss Jackie is still Miss Jackie, and will always be a credit to the women's wrestling movement. Hell, Christy Hemme has been holding her own in these matches. But Ms. Brooks is just flat out awful. She has no in-ring ability, her interview skills are atrocious, and she's just not that hot to qualify any wrestling fan to ignore those problems. So, to summarize.... Could anybody defend her for me? I'd really like to know why she should still have a job. Boobs are not an options for arguments. Like Avis, you must try harder. Cripes, when are we going to hire Jazz already? She can have this idiot's spot...

The whole Robert Roode push has been a failure since day one. He's been Mantel's so-called "pet project" for the last year and a half and I still can't take the guy as a serious threat for the title and a mid card wrestler at best.

By the way, shouldn't Jim Cornette be investigating Robert Roode again for signing away TNA talent? Either that or what agreement did TNA and Roode make to allow Miss Brooks, who is allegedly contractually bound to Roode, wrestle for TNA?

She doesn't need to be fired immediately... she just shouldn't be involved in such an asinine way with someone that is supposed to be a player in TNA.
I don't watch much TNA, so I'm confused by the whole Robert Roode push... why did he pick her? Cos she's hot? Why was he whiling away his time for ages with Eric Young?

Robert Roode is the man and I want to smurf Ms. Brooks. That is all. That's a cogent and valid counterpoint.

She's been with TNA since almost the start, she's a good worker, I've seen her in person many times. She's just involved in dumb story lines for whatever reason, this thing with RR is annoying as a whole.

I agree for the most part. But no, she dosen't need to be FIRED... Just taken out of this storyline already. the woman is a heat vacuum... Which is why they've had to bring everyone else in TNA into this storyline at one point or another... because when it's Ms. Brooks alone, nobody cares... But when Tomko/Joe?Sharmell/etc get upset about it, THEN the crowd reacts.

Pretty much the entire Robert Roode epic from its craptacular beginnings of selecting a manager up to ... well now... has been one of the most convoluted, disjointed, difficult to follow, and pointless things TNA has done over the past year and a half. I don't really fault Traci for it though. The main issue here is that the writers seem to have ADD with this story. Every month the whole foundation of it changes.
Right now, the whole idea was going to be that Roode would mistreat Traci, and it seemed that eventually he would dump Traci and replace her with Rain the Robert Roode Fan. This would get Kaz to team up with Traci (remember their brief thing), and probably lead to a mixed gender feud even. But somewhere they have gotten lost, and now the storyline is going nowhere again.
In terms of in-ring skills, yes I agree Traci is the weakest out of the current crop of knockouts. I do think she is better than a few of the WWE divas who are now attempting to wrestle (i.e. Kelly Kelly, Layla, etc). I don't think she should be fired though.

I'd rather they fired Russo and a number of others before Ms. Brooks.
