- Mike Johnson is reporting that TNA Women's Champion Gail Kim suffered a leg injury of some sort in her match with Awesome Kong this past Sunday. She is scheduled to take some time off soon to recover. No word yet on how long she will be out.

Oh no. That's horrible for her AND TNA.
I hope for a quick and healthy recovery. Get well Gail!

At least they've recorded what they wanted before it happened.
It's still a shame, though. The Gail/Kong fued is one of the best things TNA has going for it.
Hopefully, it's a speedy recovery.

That really sucks. I truly admire both Gail and Kong for the incredible match they put on at the PPV. With that stated where does this leave the knock out championship? Maybe Kong VS number one contender ODB for the vacant title? Now that might be interesting....

Oh......... snap. Just when things were getting pretty damn must-see in the knockout division too.
I hope they don't try to have ODB replace Gail as the top babyface. I just don't like her persona that much.
I nominate Roxxi to leave VKM and turn face to feud with Kong over the belt. I say this not just because I am biased towards her, but because I have seen her work with Kong in Shimmer and their match was right on par with Gail and Kong's matches.

That stinks, hopefully she'll get well soon. I'll second the hoping that Roxxi gets the nod over ODB for two reasons- 1) cuz Roxxi's grown on me, esp. after no longer wearing the weird makeup and 2) I really don't like ODB.
But as over as ODB is, it really makes no sense for TNA to go otherwise. So def. hurry back soon Gail.

DAMMIT!
Poor Kim, she was doing fantastic as of late and one of the prime reasons I tune in to Impact.
Get well soon.

I even thought of a nice simple way of turning Roxxi face. With BG and Kip having their quarrels, maybe BG will say "the hell with you Kip, I am officially disbanding VKM. You are no longer my partner. Roxxi, go off on your own and do your thing." Then maybe Awesome Kong will be beating the crap out of some helpless faces, Angelina and Velvet for example. Then Roxxi will come out and rescue the faces and somehow ward off Kong. Since Roxxi hasn't done anything remotely heelish since joining TNA, it won't take much to turn her face. Rescuing other faces should be enough. Meanwhile BG and Kip can fight over Kip's girl shorts.

SPOILER

I guess that explains her dropping the belt at Monday's tapings. It's a shame this fued had to end under these circumstances, but I hope she has a speedy recovery

She's always been injury prone for some reason. Hope she comes back soon, but thinking about it, she may need to get away for awhile. Those matches against Kong must have taken a toll on her body.

That really sucks. Of course, now we're looking at a huge monster run with Kong for a few months with almost no competition, only to have Gail come back to huge pops.
It's going to be interesting at least.

Hopefully the injury isn't too bad and Gail recovers quickly. I've really been enjoying what they've been doing with her and Kong.

That is really bad news.
I hope Gail recovers soon.
Looks like while Gail is out Awesome Kong really will be the dominate woman in the Knockouts division.

Obvious Russo work. ;D
Actually that's too bad, but that would explain Love challenging Kong to a match.
I'll miss my Asian Sensation.

www.gerweck.net/news/1200009346.shtmlA report (attributed to Mike Johnson, which was noted here) stating that TNA Knockout Gail Kim suffered a leg injury on Sunday at the PPV, which would keep her out of action for an undisclosed period of time. I want to confirm to you that the report is 100% FALSE! Gail Kim herself has confirmed with me tonight that she did NOT suffer a leg injury at all. Your report is false. However, Gail did sustain a mild concussion on Monday night at the Impact tapings, but assures her fans that she will be fine. www.thegailkim.com/forums
