So...Black Reign seems to be on Impact alot more than Rhodes has been.
They were doing the "split" personality thing alot, but now seem to have just pushed Rhodes aside for his alter ego.
So, did Black Reign take total control? Is that why Rellik is around so much? Did they just decide to drop the split personality thing and have Kaz claim it's nothing but a mind game by Rhodes?
I'm...just curious.

I have another question in the same vein, but more focused on Rellik. Let's say that BR and Rellik are in a tag match, and the "Dustin" personality decides to wake up. Does this mean Rellik disappears, since he's Black Reign's "nightmare" or whatever? I'd personally pay for the expense to install a trapdoor in the six sided ring just to see this happen ONCE.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait... Rellik is technically a facet of Black Reign's personality and doesn't really exist!?

I may be wrong, matter of fact, it's likely I am, but that's what I gather from listening to Tenay and West talk about them.

Trying to explain TNA storylines is a trying task!

Trying to explain TNA storylines is a trying task! Indeed. On the one hand, they ruin segments by not shutting the hell up, but on the other hand, they'd HAVE to talk non-stop just to try to explain some of this. It's a perilous line they walk.

I'd love to see a scenario where once Black Reign turns into Dustin, Rellik is just some ordinary guy who's incovenienced due to being Reign's nighmare. "Oh, for god's sake Rhodes, could you please stop doing this crap? I'm an insurance salesmen who's getting damned tired of having to explain to the boss that no, I can't make it into the office today because I'm acting of the personified nightmare of some jackass. Oh, and killer spelled backwards? That's the best your mind could come up with. Good god."

I actually loved how Black Reign was supposed to be a "split personality" character. When he debuted, people tended to blow it off and call it "a black and white goldust knockoff". But I disagreed and considered the possibilities of a character who truly has a split personality -- a man being both a face and a heel, depending on the day. The storyline possibilities for a character like this are very interesting to me.
Sadly, TNA seems to have dropped this and now yes... he is basically a black Goldust. Maybe one day the writers will regain some of that initial ambition and bring Dustin back.

I think Rellik is metaphorically a figment of Chocolate Rain's imagination. Like how Chocolate Rain is a figment of Dustin Runnel's mind.
Like in the Maxx. Julie is to Dustin as Rellik is to the Maxx.
And I guess Mr. Gone is Kaz and EY is the Izs.

they should blow the story way out of proportion when Black Reign is wrestling cut to the back and boom there's Dustin eating a cheeseburger. Black Reign and Dustin notice each other and boom disappear.
Also did you know rellik is killer backwords?

Am I the only one that thinks Rellik looks like a Mortal Kombat character?
I can hear the MK voice guy saying his name, "RRRELLIK!"
Maybe Black Reign has nightmares of MK characters who sometimes wear Jason goalie masks.....
