www.gerweck.net/news/1198865103.shtml- Attendance was estimated at around 1,500. (1) Eric Young d. James Storm. (2) Sonjay Dutt d. Jimmy Rave. (3) Gail Kim & Ms. Brooks d. Awesome Kong & Jackie Moore. (4) X Division Champion Jay Lethal d. Johnny Devine. (5) Samoa Joe d. Robert Roode. (6) Abyss d. Chris Harris. (7) Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Tomko d. LAX. (8) Christian Cage d. TNA World Champion Kurt Angle on a DQ. Earl Hebner was the ref. and when he tried to screw Christian with a fast count former WWE Superstar Sylvain Grenier got invloved in the match. Figured someone out there might want to comment on something that happened during the show but not really sure what people might want to talk about...

I can't believe this. This is just plain disgusting. How DARE Abyss hold down Chris Harris like that! ... What? Oh wait, the Cage/Angle match, right? Um...Sylvan? They hired the wrong La Resistance member!

Isn't Sylvan part of the French or Canadian dubbing for iMPACT?
Eh. Not that big a deal. Maven was main evening the house shows, and he didn't shown up on TV.
Plus, WOO 1,500!

Also the last time the WWE went to Montreal, Sylvan got the biggest reaction of his life.
So there is a possibility TNA used him to get a hometown pop and didn't actually hire him.

TNA was planning on using Mexican stars for their house shows in Mexico, so its probably just the hometown pop deal that they go with for house shows.

Isn't Sylvan part of the French or Canadian dubbing for iMPACT? Yeah, that's the impression I had been given.

I hope they use Dixie Carter's daddy for when they go to Nashville next time, he'll surely get a hometown pop.

1,500? Not bad, TNA. Given I don't know how big the building is but this sounds good nonetheless. As for the Screwjob finish, I'm numb to it. Still, the image of Sylvan being the big babyface to make the save brings me joy for whatever reason.

Um....so shouldn't Christian be World Champion? Their title DOES change hands on a DQ you know.
Ugh, why bother asking.

Sting beat Jarrett via DQ a few years back and didn't win the title. I'd say this is them forgetting their own rules again.

I believe the story went that the rule was "unenforced" even outside of TNA for a long time because people were unaware it existed, or something... Now TNA probably made the whole thing up, but I think they had their bases covered kayfabe-wise.
