- According to The Bi-Lo Center box office only 800 or so tickets have been sold for the Feb. Against All Odds PPV.
- Mike Johnson reports that TNA drew their largest crowd ever this past week in Oshawa, Canada with 4,200 paid and that there is talk of holding a PPV there in 2008.
- Johnson reports as well that former TNA wrestler The Amazing Red is currently training and hoping to make a full time comeback.
- Locations being discussed as possible PPV candidates in 2008 include but are not limited to Chicago, Louisville, Texas, Alabama, Canada, Las Vegas and Rhode Island.
- The Genesis 2007 PPV will be released 1/15 on DVD nationwide but it is already in stock at ROHwrestling.com.
- You can now sign up for news updates via e-mail at TNAwrestling.com.
- Due to poor sales Target stores have decided to no longer carry any TNA merchandise.
Gerweck.net
Still plenty of time for AAO. Most likely why they're hyping it so much even with another PPV coming up.
I never got to see much of Amazing Red, but I hope his training goes well.
And...Poor TNA, dumped by Target...

The loss of Target is huge and is a sign that business is not going that well. Just look at the buyrates.
4200 paid sounds good but I have a feeling that have to do with that city they went to not having a lot of wrestling. Their ppv sales is not going well for a US city. I heard the show in Troy,OH only sold about a 150 tickets.

maybe they'll ask Pacman Jones to buy 1500 tickets and hand them out to school kids again.

Well, 800 doesn't seem bad for a PPV that doesn't have any matches listed. I think it's better than Slammiversary, if I remember correctly.
And Target had TNA merchandise? I know they had toys, but that's about it. Never saw any DVDs or anything there.

No wonder I didn't see any TNA figures last time I went there. I figured they were all sold out after the holidays.

put me in the camp of never seeing TNA stuff at Target in the first place.
But the Best Buy I work had has loads of TNA stuff, and the DVD's actually sell better than the WWE ones.

There is no truth to the rumor that Justin Credible was behind Target pulling all the merchandise

I got my DVDs at Best Buy and Toys at Toys R Us(and both also don't have them anymore ) At least my FYE has the shirts and DVDs. BTW, I don't think the toys are gonna be around, since I heard there was this big problem with the company that makes them, "Marvel Toys"

Dammit about Target. Seriously. Wal-Marts around here already don't carry TNA figures, and Target is the only other worthwhile place to get them. Oh well, looks like I'll be sticking with WWE figs for a while.

I just went to the venue website, and it showed that they have sold 670 tickets so far, without counting General Admission.

Great news in regard to The Amazing Red, I always thought he easily was going to be better than AJ

I usually saw TNA figures at Target and Toys R Us. Saw them at both last week, actually. It was kinda sad because the WWE toy section right next to it had a lot of empty shelf space and it looked like the TNA toys weren't even touched.
