In other news, TNA fanboys have declared a jihad on Target. "I was just a boy when the infidels came to my store in their big 18-wheelers. The infidels fired at the discount cooking oil and they lit up like the eyes of Abdullah the Butcher. Burning oil rained down from the sky and cooked everything it touched. I could only hide myself and cry as the toys were consumed by the fiery liquid death. In the midst of the chaos, I could swear that I heard those toys screaming for help. As quickly as they had come, the infidels were gone. It was on that day I put a jihad on them. And if you don't believe it, then you'd better kill me now, because I'll put a jihad on you, too."

Awesome news about Red. Hope he can make a full comeback, he was always one of my favorites. And please, if he comes back, let him drag the Maximos out of obscurity with him.

That sounds about right. They'll probably sell a lot more before PPV time.
Good for them, but like someone already said, it could be an area that's starved for wrestling. Nevertheless this is still good news for TNA.
Dear God no! This guy is overhyped and is basically a Rey Mysterio clone. And a poor one at that. Hopefully he'll stay far, far away from my TV.
More good news since they're starting to expand at least. How about starting to move Impact across the country?
Target sold TNA merchandise?

Keep Impact in Orlando but put some ppv's on around the country while still giving Orlando some as well.

Here's some better news-Shelly Martinez is going to be debuting as a member of the Latino Nation soon. A little disappointing-I would prefer see her be a vampire-she showed so much enthusiasm for the part.

No wonder I didn't see any TNA figures last time I went there. I figured they were all sold out after the holidays. Sold out of TNA merch??? Hahahahaha, oh that's funny stuff.

I knew there was a problem when I saw a Raven vs. Sabu figure pack after Christmas. I knew there was a problem when I saw a Mortimer Plumbtree action figure.

The loss of Target is huge and is a sign that business is not going that well. Just look at the buyrates. 4200 paid sounds good but I have a feeling that have to do with that city they went to not having a lot of wrestling. Their ppv sales is not going well for a US city. I heard the show in Troy,OH only sold about a 150 tickets. Oshawa, Ontario is right outside of Toronto, it's not too starved...

Even though it's not really related at all...
This thread reminds me how much I hate living in a town where the only retail outlet is Wal-Mart.

Yeah, this has been reported on the wrestling figure forums that I visit as well. Every Target has all TNA figures on clearance. Toys R Us stopped carrying them around 6 months ago. Any that are left in the stores are on clearance. KB Toys doesn't carry them anymore either. Which pretty much leaves Wal-Mart, which is pretty hit or miss. Certain stores get them and others don't. The rumor is that the next wave (Series 9) is going to be the last one and I assume the wave will be pretty hard to find if it even sees the light of day.

put me in the camp of never seeing TNA stuff at Target in the first place. But the Best Buy I work had has loads of TNA stuff, and the DVD's actually sell better than the WWE ones. I keep looking for TNA Meltdown (the music CD) at my local Best Buy, but I couldn't ever find it. I guess I'll break down and get it from the website.
